The fictional city of Los Santos, host of "Grand Theft Auto V" will be bigger than that of the worlds game "Red Dead Redemption" "GTA: San Andreas" and "Grand Theft Auto IV" combined.
The information comes from the art director Aaron Garbut, Rockstar Games, in an interview with U.S. magazine Game Informer.
The scenery ranges from urban areas to busy beaches, mountains, a military base, inner suburbs and houses. A curious detail: you can dive and explore the ocean floor off the coast of Los Santos.

About the new players, the trio is comprised of familiar characters from previous games, as many imagined. There are 3 characters unpublished: Michael, a retired gangster coming from the U.S. east coast; Trevor, a career criminal and Franklin, the youngest, henchman of a luxury car dealer.
Players can switch between the 3 character during the game. "After 'GTA IV' and 'Red Dead Redemption' feel that doing more of the same would not be enough to overcome charismatic characters like Niko Belic and John Marston," said Dan Houser, vice president of Rockstar Games.
"Grand Theft Auto V" goes through June 2013, for PS3 and Xbox 360.
