So yeah, all the xbox player know that this awesome game is coming. I played the demo (which was released on the 9th) and I seriously can't wait! If anyone want to play one of the best racing game of this year, I guess you should definitely buy this (or a xbox if you don't have one. <:) Anyway, yeah, here are some videos of that amazing game which is coming on the 26th of October. Seriously I hope that many of you guys will get a xbox / forza horizon. Also, add me " x POMPiiZZ x " if you want to play any other games. (especially forza 3-4)

And yeah, it's an open world, so you can go anywhere you want. The map is awesome too.

I don't like tdu that much, but yeah, forza will always surprise myself. Also saying that Turn10 started Forza 5 they actually don't know if they will release it with the new generations of console, or with the 360. What's your gamertag gryzlek? :D
And yeah, for all the people saying that it's totally not realist. Fuck off, and download the demo seriously. I played it with everything OFF. Seriously, it's a bit different than forza4, a bit less simulator, but not as much as a needforspeed. It still requires some skill to handle it right. Seriously, try it :D

hmm this looks a little promising. I played the last Forza game and thought it was terrible, there was no sense of speed at all and it seemed really boring. This looks like it has a better sense of speed and the tracks look far better. :hmm:
The new NFS MW looks interesting also, I'm tied between the 2.

Forza 4? I agree that it looks so slow when you go down to 40 - 50 km/h. :lol: But when you're at around 180-200 with a r1 on the nordschleife, it's epic. :3

They are totally different. But yeah, gt5 sucks, and will always suck in my mind :P gt4 was even better. gt always had the same tyre sound, and of course the driving isn't that interesting to be honest. You can't say gt5 is better than horizon since both are totally different. :P I respect your mind, but I'd say forza 4 is better, in every point. (:

Might get this and then only race with the Quattro or any other older cars from the 80's. Or the Impreza if it's in there.

I could really use another racing game for my Xbox since the last one I got was Burnout Paradise. Too bad I'm now stuck with two good options; Forza or NFSMW. Gonna try out the demo today and see what I think of it.

Yeaah, they are. Also you've got loads of packs that you can download to get older's car :P

I've played the demo twice and really like it so I think I have to get it now. So much better compared to forza 4 and the addition of freeroam is awesome. I will buy Horizon near release and may get NFS:Most Wanted for a Christmas present... thats if they bother to release a demo for it.

Demo played pretty sweet, racing against a place was awesome! But I still have some loving left for NFSMW and Criterion so I'm gonna see how that one works out first.

Hahahaha, did you play Forza 3 - 4 before? I actually earned 8cars because I got the highest level of Forza 3 - played 4. But yeah, in the 8, there is the Gumpert Apollo, and ofc the Aventador : D That game is wonderful, the map is so amazing!!

Sounds much better than all NFS series, but I don't like playing on consoles, I prefer PC.
Maybe I'll buy a XBOX just to play this game, or no... :P

My Dad wanted a racing game so I got him Forza 4, played it myself at didn't like it at all :lol:
Horizon's demo blew me away though with its variety and free roam, guess I just like street races more because I grew up playing NFS.

Why not just buy NFSMW? It looks really cool and it is available on all the platforms.

Because Forza is unbeatable. Why are you such a fanboy of mw? It won't even be a real MW. Nfs is going worse since hot pursuit. I mean, seriously, it's not nfs anymore. And I don't think MW will be good. -> won't buy it.
Anyway yeah, forza is awesome when you like cars. Nfs is awesome when you want to look at an action film.

Because need for speed is more of an arcade game. I loved some of the old NFS games but some of the latest ones really let the series down (apart from only a few exceptions). I've always played NFS so Forza is kind of something new for me.

Me too, I was a big fan of the old nfs, but since forza 3, i'm playing forza a lot. I will not play NFS if the customisations don't come back. That's the only good part (with the arcarde driving) that NFS has. Let's see for MW, but I don't think that'll be good.

Yeah I agree, the old MW was pretty much the perfect package back then. Car custimazition in lots of ways as well as epic arcade racing and police chases. I really hope they can bring back that feel (and honestly that's the only reason I'm still following because so far it doesn't look too good and NFS became shit) because that's what I'm looking for in a racing game right now.
Forza seems like a good alternative as well, especially because it loosened up a bit more and left the simple racing track for what it is and became open world and more varied.

Comparing it to the upcoming NFS Most Wanted, well that game's only problem is that it's called Most Wanted and it has nothing to do with the name except for having cops and slightly similar colors to the original. But that aside, it looks like a fucking fantastic racing/chase game.

Well, not really. Hot pursuit has always been made for the cops, and there aren't any in forza. Also the map, it looks like that in the colorado, so yeah. I don't think they tried to rip off that game.

Totally disagree that Hot Pursuit wasn't a good NFS game, I loved it. It's different, but it's a fantastic game, despite its flaws. I'm torn between Most Wanted and Forza Horizon. I played the Horizon demo and it's awesome, but Most Wanted seems far more innovative. However, I find the vehicle handling in Forza games far more satisfying than Need for Speed titles. I'll wait for the reviews to come in, and buy one of them after I've finished with the big games like AC3 :D

also considering the fact I always knew Forza as a game that wanted to compete with games like Gran Turismo not NFS.
Gran Turismo 4 was definitely the best racing game in the PS2 times, but when the new consoles came out, i'd say that Forza took the leadership. IMO GT5 was not that good anymore, compared to the new Forza's.
and yeah, like Mxz said, you'll only like Forza if you're interested in cars. If not, then you'll like the new NFS more, because it's rather about the action than the cars. No point in comparing Forza and NFS, they are totally different type of games.

There are few alternatives to open-world realistic racing games, it's a genre that has a lot of potential but yet is barely exploited.

I would, but I haven't got enough money :(. My XBL gamertag is VaNiilaa, I don't really play on Xbox though. I was gonna get Most Wanted on PC, but I don't know anybody who plays it on PC, so it might be better on Xbox.
