Hey guys, this is my third video editing wise on San Andreas, was a great experience and learnt a lot of new techniques. Gotta say thanks to Determined again for helping me through the editing process, and also Stunta for providing the bulk of the stunts. You can call this a sort of 'mini best of' for him, but it's mainly an editing video.

Hope you enjoy it, was great fun to make  :euro:. Oh and watch it in 720p  :cc_detective:.

Ahh, finally the masterpiece is out!
Astonishing colors & angles, great mood & perfect editing in my eyes, can't believe how fast someone can improve, I can't even begin to imagine what you'll be doing 1 year from now, definitely a candidate for one of the best editors around here  :wub:

Sweet stunts and edit. If you use camhack freecam in your cinematics you'll get a better result, just adjust the movement. I can help you if you want, I made Ondine's cinematic intro just with camhack, that's really easy and amazing. Give me your Skype in pm.

I saw this earlier, but only now decided to comment, so here are my thoughts

i found the intro to be boring. it was just 50 seconds of a guy walking, with no real mood set other than the music. it was hard to tell what it was supposed to add. if it had been done correctly, im sure it would have worked, but as it is, i dont think it helped much. the stunts were pretty nice, i liked the spins and nice executions. i think you have a knack for finding unique and creative stunts as well as getting a nice execution. the edit that was put on them could have been better, but it was ok nonetheless. i dont have much more to add, other than i hope you can continue to land stunts and improve more and more in every aspect of stunting. good luck in your future endeavors  :happy:

Dafuq, it was done correctly when you think about it, it sets the mood perfectly (imagine! Daydream, take a break from your troublesome life to just let your mind run on its own course, play its goals and ambitions no matter how improbable & ridiculous in your head, gaze at the sunset & just let yourself get lost in your own mind) I know it's just your opinion & I shouldn't bash you for it, but that's like saying something's poorly done while in fact you just don't get it, it doesn't appeal to you, therefore you're not the intended audience for the streamline of communication & can not be a competent critic of it. That's like trying to speak arabic to someone who speaks french & then judging him because he doesn't speek arabic. And in general, the editing is fucking perfect, the angles are solid & the overall mood of said daydreaming & pure laid back liquid state of mind is present throughout the vid. Just, try to think more objectively before you judge someone's work, 99% of the time, there are underlying ideas & purposes behind what's happening & why it's happening, don't just throw accusations about something that simply isn't in your taste.

Rly nice edit you made a great job the stunt's was good too.
When i saw a stunt on 1:42 I say myself Oh damn Anoobis, but when didn't saw his name i was disappointed  :cheersad:

For kingalmighty, read Determined's second post, that kind of outlines the story if you didn't quite catch it. It's based around the unconcious mind when you go into a sort of 'trance' state when accessing your thoughts, or imagining them. Hence him leaving the house, going to a certain location, and returning to his house. Got my inspiration from the cover of the album the song comes from (If anyone's interested, click this (http://i2.ytimg.com/vi/Mqv8RTtSfw8/mqdefault.jpg)), and the stunts arn't mine, the majority of them are stunta's (Thatguy) I only contributed with a guest stunt.

Because I have the shittiest laptop in the entire world  :lol:. Computers get a bit shit when they're 5 years old, but when laptops are 5 years old, they are extremely shit. I hope the edit itself made up for lack of quality, i'll have a new PC soon :ninja:.

Nice video. Some great stunts in there, a few old ones. Editing was done nicely and had a nice mood with the song. Intro and outro were a little boring because there wasn't much to it, mostly just walking, that's a minor thing though  :ajaja:

You're entitled to your own opinion, but can I just ask what made the editing lame? I don't particularly care you don't like it, I care that I put a lot of effort into it and you didn't really put much effort into telling me why you didn't like it.

Yeah, I know that feeling. Still waiting for mine though. I spent 4years editing with a crappy computer. recording at 2fps to get something "ok". :P

Great video, you at least have potential. Just if you can improve the cam angles a bit and set all settings to high quality therefore you're getting something pretty neat.  :)

Small bump  :ninja:, just letting you know there's now a download link as i'm clearing out my laptop to record a bunch of stunts, I put it as 720p, but frankly I have no idea what quality it is in as it didn't have an extension  :lol:.
