I downloaded a Youtube clip with that download helper. It's a .mp4 1280x720 clip. It looks fine when I watch it on my PC using WMM but when I import it it Vegas the only thing I see is a combination of green and black screens after eachother very randomly
Got some tips? :c

I never use mp4 with vegas because it bugs :< Try compressing it in avi.

ooooo, think quality would go lower by compressing it to avi.

never heard of a download helper, but if you just type in YouTube to mp4 on google, copy the link over and convert it, the .mp4 file which comes out of that has always worked on Sony Vegas for me :s

Already found a good method. Winff is a great free conversion program. I advice all of you to use it :a-cheer: Nearly no quality loss if you choose the right settings. No need to import .mp4's anymore :P A additional fix for importing .mp4's would be appreciated though.

It is not just this MP4, but it's EVERY MP4. A alternative download link won't help :(

wow that sucks, maybe you havnt got the right codec packs, a few months ago mine went missing and I couldn't play any file type, even in windows media player, type in k-lite codec pack and see if that helps

Get CCCP and K-Lite.
