Title: Max Payne 3 PC Requirements revealed
Post by: Beat on April 24, 2012, 01:38:49 PM
I reviewed the source (http://www.destructoid.com/max-payne-3-can-scale-up-to-monster-pcs-226339.phtml) and Shadowsniper is correct, they're showing the supported hardware. But it's also the minimum requirements (on the left) so. Take a look.

A bloody motherfucking 35GB game. And its not even open free-world, whats GTA V going to be like a 100GB? :|

It's showing a range of supported hardware, not the recommended requirements (although obviously the minimum reqs are shown by default). It will still probably utilise a maximum of 4-6GB's of RAM. 35GB HDD space is huge though, sounds like a lot of audio and high-res textures :P

And I thought JC2 was hardcore.

Should be able to run smoothly on mid settings, though.

And I thought JC2 was hardcore.

JC2 runs like a 2005 game on some low-end hardware and lags like shit on other high-end hardware. Its just way too shitty optimised, I wouldn't judge by it to be honest :P

That's a relief, I was starting to doubt my pc's capabilities because of that.
