Title: Hauppage HD PVR
Post by: math22 on February 09, 2012, 04:54:54 AM
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there would be people that know or people who are happy with their capture card? I know theres mostly pc user here so you guys dont need a capture card! (You need a capture card to reccord from console in case you didnt know) I though it would be a good idea to ask, you never know!

The first capture card i was using was a easycap which I paid $ 10 and its now broken:

theres an exemple of quality i was getting with my easycap:

And now I am looking for a new device with a better quality at a price not too high ($ 100 maximum). If theres anyone using a capture card? Thank you for your answers!

Have a nice day :)

Yeah there are cables included.

I have got a HD pvr myself and the quality is pretty amazing but you will need a HD TV.

That's about £110 in my country's currency and they usually go for 130-150 so you got a good deal there ;)

I tried to use my hd pvr today but this is what happened:

is it because i used standard S video cable for PS3 like those:

because on the installation guide picture they'r showing component video cable:

but i dont own one! so I was asking to myself do i absolutely need a component video cable? or i just plugged the s video cable wrong??

thanks :)
