Agreed. Soccer has essentially become a sideshow attraction, and has ceased to be a sport.

Okay Sabotage, show me 'yours' sport. I agree that dives has been a plague lately but then again there's a fuck load of good aspects of the game. Plus, football is what it is because it's popular among people who love to play, not watch it. Try to fake injuries during a neighbourhood game.

I'm not a huge soccer fan (I love playing it myself, and I enjoy watching the world cup every fourth year, but that's about it), but what's the point of bitching about how you don't like it? I guess I'll counter: America has baseball, that is seriously the most boring sport EVER, and it's not even fun to play! American football games are fucking boring too, waay too much waiting and most of the players just wrestle with the other team... ugh.
Ice hockey and basketball is cool though, are all of these four national sports in the US?
