Title: Hitman
Post by: Simon on December 17, 2011, 01:15:29 AM
This was a school project me and a friend did for the last 4 weeks I think it was, maybe 5. We both play San Andreas a lot. (I stunted in it, he is a Roleplay guy) So we decided that we would make a movie in SA with some scripting as I've always wanted to know how to do it. So we wrote a story real quick and I started looking in to scripting. I'm pretty happy with the outcome of some of the scenes that I scripted, but there are certain things in some scenes that I'm not at all happy with. You'll probably guess them yourself.

Also another little note, We didn't script everything there is a car chase in there that we just recorded in SAMP together so it looks pretty bad I would say. Also there were certain things I couldn't figure out how to do with scripting ( though I had lots of help from both PtRvY and Kaneda with the scripting ) So again my friend just ended up recording those scenes in SAMP. Most of you can probably see it as you know SA that well. Another thing is that in the car chase we jumped a little knowing that our Classmates didn't know the SA map, but again you do so you'll notice.

Finally when we had everything scripted and recorded my friend edited and made the music for this. So if you find editing mistakes or whatever, don't look at me
Also, we noticed at the end we focused more on scripting than telling the actual story, so you probably won't get what's happening that much. I can explain it if you guys want but I'll wait with that :3

but too much text lololo here:

Well done guys, it was ok to watch. Car chase was pretty clunky but it was ok, I couldn't do any better myself  :P

I have to admit that the enterence with a helicopter at 4:05 has to be one of the un-coolest ever, scratching the ground with it's front    Well done nonetheless, the water gap stunt was really cool and the editing was well done in that part as throughout the video.  :ajaja:

The fucking helicopter landing was the worst shit I ever had to script lol. But that was the only time it actually got in the frame and I've been at it for like 4 hours to get it. So I was like FUCK IT THAT IS IT!

Ohoho, my Premonition stunt :cheernutz:

The video was pretty cool. Didn't like the use of ENB during the LV chase though, but it was ok on the nighttime. The helicopters part was pretty bad-ass looking. :)

I laughed my ass off when the helicopter came crashlanding in on the scene, the rest was pretty cool though. Really liked the car chase, especially the ending that was really neat.

Impressive.
The car chase was way too long and boring.. some cool angles thought but it needed more action, like not using the freaking ghost town mod

Winner of the Themed Video of the Year for sure.

2:30 - 2:39 was kinda epic. Rest was decent.

I thought it was really cool ^^

You sure have a lot of patience to be doing scripting, I'm impressed. The only thing I thought was pretty bad was the voice acting. I don't see why people always try to sound like batman...

^
I agree
I wasn't the one who edited it so you'll have to ask my friend :P
Also, he was the one who did all the voices which is why I'm guessing he tweaked them.

Thanks for the replies anyways  :a-cheer:
