Title: 10000c to...
Post by: Reaper on December 09, 2011, 06:54:48 AM
.. a VC modeler who makes a somewhat detailed tutorial how to import a vehicle into 3ds Max lets say the PCJ? And add stuff like circles.. lights whatever, export it and make it work in-game.

I think I have the required tools but I'm not sure.. 3ds Max(obviously.)+Kam's GTA modding stuff for it, Txd workshop, Img tool.. .. ... . . ..

I hope you guys get the basic idea what I want.

I think you just import the dff into 3DS Max, add what you want, then export it as dff. I just started into modeling so I'm not quite sure.  :euro:

You can do anything to anything. Make sure the texture maps are right, and the models you add are combined into the chassis model

GTASA Tutorial - lights, particles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFDH717G5xw#ws)

If I am right, I think it should work for Vice City as well. In the descriptions you can find link to all plug ins to 3ds max.

Forgot to mention I'm a total beginner at modelling. I really need some serious ass help or should I just spend countless hours trying to help myself. The main reason I'm requesting this is that I wanna get better at skinning olololllol. Just figured i've been rolling in the same level for too long.. I WANT TO GET BETTER D:
