So, what do you guys think of it? I got mine today, finished it 20minutes ago, and I gotta say it's pretty damn awesome. Got no idea why everyone's whining about it, it's still awesome, as nearly all the CoDs are. Yeah, graphics are nothing compared to BF3 but come on, at least shitty PCs can run it too. For me, this is one of the best shooters in the game. Will try out the Spec Ops mode and MP soon too.

I finished MW3 yesterday and I think it's better than BF3. The only good thing in BF3 was the graphics. And you should seriously try the Spec Ops it's epic !

indeed, MW is one of the best series ever made. loved all of them, the story itself is awesome too. good to see I'm not the only one that thinks MW3 is freaking awesome

I thought MW3 was the worst SP campaign of all the MW games and worse then Black Ops as well, it was good but MW1 is 10 times better IMO. Love the multiplayer though :P

tried out survival mode, 25 waves, 43 minutes, that was epic. gets kinda messy after 20th wave. tomorrow it's time for MP, yay! :cheernutz:

I like BF3 more but as Fighter says, they are completely different games focusing on completely different types of gaming.

In my opinion BF3 is better in some ways because the set pieces are grounded in reality and the graphics really make it more enjoyable even at lowest settings, but MW3's single player has miles better gameplay overall (even if IMO it's the worst SP campaign of the series).

Won't buy it because that'd make me feel like a fool getting ripped off. Didn't even try it yet and barely willing to.
I bet its just another remake and from the trailers let me predict the ending, you kill Makarov in a dramatic way? :lol:
Though I'll play the campaign sooner or later and theres a chance its better than BF3's campaign. The only reason BF3's campaign was good wasn't the story but the fantastic movie feeling with incredible scenery, it was exactly like watching a movie from a character's eyes shot with an actual camera in the real world. Obviously MW3 won't deliver that, but my prediction is that the campaign will be fairly equal in terms of enjoyment.

Well said, I just finished BF3's campaign and that was the exact feeling it gave me. Great experience, only the tank stuff was a bit annoying. :euro:

The most powerful moment in BF3 (speaking of "movie from the characters eyes") was the mission where you were sitting inside the jet. Oh, God... That was amazing. I almost felt like I was taking off irl :lol:

Yeah I agree, people are really negative about BF3's campaign but I thought it was really intense and I really got dragged into it. I thought this was one of the more emotional and 'slap in the face' campaigns in a FPS so far.

I'm probably the only one here that hasn't played through any campaign of any COD or BF game
Loving the multiplayer though, First Prestige level 52 right about now. I like that you can level up pretty fast as well. At this rate I'll be 10th prestige in 2 months :3

also, if you use Specialist Strike Package, you get like 3-4 times more XP, damn awesome. lvl 30 yet

I finished MW3 2 day ago.I don't really like it..don't know why,but is not the same epic Cod for me.

I'm usually running support with UAV and CUAV. think about it, even if you go on a crazy streak, you will get the UAV and CUAV all of the time as they reset automatically, and if you suck you are still supporting your team cause it doesn't matter if you die. And I get XP each time i fire one up. I ran Specialist the whole first prestige btw, but my team ( my brother, and some of his/my friends :P) complained, so I switched :) It's still a pretty good deal though :3

my assault weapon, SMG and LMG are Assault'd packages, Sniper is Support, and got a Specialst. pretty good thing indeed

in MW2 there were more than 40 weapons and about 15 killstreak rewards, cool maps, new attachments and shit. now in MW3 there are new game modes, much more weapons, even more killstreak rewards

If you just don't like COD all over then I can get it. But if you liked mw2 or cod4 then I don't get why you don't like this one. MW3 for me is a perfect miz between cod4 style gameplay and mw2 style graphics (which btw, is awesome) And people who think it looks the same, it kind of does (which i like, because mw2 looked awesome) but it has small things to make it look better that you don't even notice, but it's there.

I just beat the game, it's typical straightforward FPS action shooter, as usual, but this time they really overdid it with naiivity and the action scripted scenes :lol: from falling elevator through crashing subway train topping utter demolition of famous buildings (which I actually enjoyed). Also amusing was variety of mission locations, where was also my hometown :wub: . Overall good abreaction but I'm not gonna buy it. I think that IW tried to make the game look more Battlefieldish, but unfortunately it didn't work, at least not on me.
Funny were Czech NPC's with epic names and language they spoke was like Russian speaking czech language, that cracked me up too :lol:
