Got a weird-ass problem, I can download shit normally but I can't upload a thing it seems - I went on to speedtest.net and while my 50MB/s download speed was normal enough, it couldn't even BEGIN the upload portion - said connecting without anything happening. YouTube just stays on 0% saying 'starting upload'. Tested this on imageshack, it took about 2 minutes to upload a 191kb image - with my internet that's embarassingly slow lol, progress bar was weird as well as it went halfway, then 3/4, then halfway again, before deciding to just do it.
I tried disabling firewall and then re-tried the speedtest thing, but same thing happened (oddly enough my download speed boosted with firewall off lol). I am utterly baffled, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the cables for internet. Virgin Media's a pain in the arse at times!

Might wanna try checking your pc for malware/worms, those are the main cause of internet connection problems. I had the same thing today, only I had it both ways, couldn't even start buffering a vid on youtube, kept giving me errors & stuff, reloading a page took like 5 minutes :lol: Scanned the pc with malwarebytes (freeware), turns out I had 6 infected files on my pc, got rid of those & now it works like a charm. :happy:

you might wanna discuss that with your internet provider :ajaja: I don't think it's a fault on your side when your download speed is unharmed

Trying a different browse might help... worth a try tbh.
If after a while it still doesn't work then its worth calling your ISP and seeing if they have capped your usage. Maybe you have been uploading + downloading a lot recently?

The issue was definitely with the internet source itself, not a browser thing - this was 100% confirmed.
I pulled the plug out last night for internet connection, went to bed, plugged it in when I woke up and normality's resumed. Maybe the bloody thing overheated or something, who knows.

Got a similar problem. I can't upload clips or videos to Youtube on my own PC. Not even 20mb clips. It just stucks somewere between 1-99%. Which is frustrating as hell. As I need to use my dads PC to upload stuff >.> Multi-upload is not problem at all. So I don't really get it.. :L

Oh, the obvious, resetting the router :lol:
Routers do just freeze up or start having problems and just need to be reset.
