So this is my 21st solo video here on GTAS, it will probably be my last. The stunts are a compilation of stuff I've landed from 2007-2010. When selecting which material to use, I chose to focus on variety, which in my opinion is more important to make up a good video, than simply jam packing it with only the most impressive stunts. So if any of you guys miss some of my past stuff in this, now you know why.
I decided to put some real work into the editing for a change. This time hopefully you won't have to "watch with your fucking sunglasses on", Jonas, and I hope that my camangles won't cause anyone to "not see shit of what's going on", like last time, lol. I also invested a lot of thought and emotion into this video, it contains symbolism through songs and clips that represent some of my most important feelings these last four years.
Oh and just so you guys know, I haven't decided to quit stunting or anything. I'll still be participating in crew videos, and maybe a collaboration from time to time. Anyway, enough blabbering, here is

Care to dispute Youtube or put up a Vimeo link or something? I'm having troubles with directly downloading files lately.
-
blocked sh!t ... looks like gonna download <_<

I liked a lot of the stunts, your style's always been different from most people, so yeah, cool. Editing/songs weren't really what I liked lol..
-
Holy fuck :o That was one hell of a video dude! Seriously, you're amazing. That's the reason why you're my favourite VC stunter of all time. You simply mastered every style and your ideas are way beyond the awesomeness. :ajaja: You can really think outside of the box and if it wouldn't be enough, your executions are also perfect. :ajaja: Simply amazing.
Also the editing was cool, I can see that you put a lot of effort into this. Liked that in every part you used a different CC and timecyc fitting to the song and you didn't use so many effects. Also those pictures at the beginning looked really nice.
Good job overall, this video is definitely a keeper and I hope it'll win some awards. :ajaja:
-
Loved what you did there, going for the variety in a bestof showing your stunting all way through from different points of view... and it worked really nice, typical red, amazing video needless to say and each stunt was absolutely great in my eyes. This sums up why you're one of my favorite stunters ever.
-

Seriously? It's blocked? :/ I checked all the songs I used and they were all on YouTube. Well that sucks. Anyway thanks for the kind words fellas. Sorry my angles and editing isn't to everyone's liking, I tried my best anyway. I can safely say it's better than my previous editings though, so there is that

You're an amazing guy and you know it! Legendary video, it had a really great feeling
-
That was an amazingly good way to end your career :ajaja: Amazing stunts, feeling was like nothing else and songs were unique and fitted well. Some camera angles were a bit bad because they were rotating like 720 degrees for no reason, but it wasn't a big deal. :P Awesome video :ajaja:
I hope that you would visit this place from time to time because you're are an awesome person to talk to
-
Dude, I love you! You are one of my bigger inspirations in stunting, because your style is just unique. I really loved this video, for once we get to see a video really packed with emotions, which is what all of the stunting videos lack in my opinion. The feeling was just awesome from the very beginning to the end. The drowning scene was really intense, great way to end it. As for the stunting part, I'm speechless.
Although I've seen most of the stunts, I like them more every time I watch them! There was some unreleased? stuff or? Because I haven't seen some of them until now, but fuck they were just amazing! E.g. that packer2stairsbump2grind with angel was sooo sweet! I had a similar spot at that place, made me try it now :D
To sum up, you really are one of the greatest stunters in my eyes, you mastered every technique you got in touch with.
-
Tight stuff Red, I really enjoyed it, a very personal editing packed with songs I guess you chose for the feelings they gave you. I can only bow for such a courageous behavior, when everything's so set in terms of editing you still have your fresh single mind.
(Execution wasn't perfect, but in his own little style that was something else. Oh, and Tom Waits, each has it's personal tastes huh ? :D)
As for stunting, same applies, you've always had that little different mind ever since you joined us in BWS which has been a pleasure to watch the whole time you've stunted, may it goes on :)
-
Well yeah I expected more taxi stunts from ya, but these were all fine. You are one of the creativest stunters in GTAS and we can see it from your unique style :ajaja:
I really enjoyed watching this video, some new stunts perhaps that I haven't seen before were great shockers for me  I rate 10/10
-
Love your style. Always a source of inspiration
-
It's a masterpiece, my friend.
-
Where was that running in the snow shot taken from? it looks so damn familiar!
And I think I had already seen most of it. And my favorite part of the whole video would be the outro, It's like really sad and moving in a way. I enjoyed the whole video and I liked your weird editing style :3
-
Amazing! your style is so unique :)
-
Love.
-
lovely vid!<3
-
I feel all warm after watching, haven't enjoyed a video like this for a very, very long time..
It's unique in its way, can't put my thoughts on the screen but I just feel like thanking you for sharing this piece of beauty :cc_detective:
-
That shit was really sweet, hope everyone watches it. It had a such a strong personal touch on it. I can tell you worked pretty hard on it, and enjoyed doing so.
I especially like the stunt from the police station surveillance footage! :P Oh, and the title reminds me of some Vice City radio. Lol, is your child becoming a red? Does he read complicated literature? Have concern for his fellow man?
Good luck in the future, Red.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, it's nice to know that people like what I do
-
You're some kind of master of execution I think, some of the smoothest landings I've ever seen :P While I don't love all of your ideas, I do love the variety and the fact that you try new things. Sometimes I'm stuck in a rut and can't think of any interesting spots at all, videos like this get the wheels turning in my head again.
It's good you'll still be around and participate in new vids, gives me a reason to watch as I know I will always be surprised :]
-
as much as I love Tom Waits you've convinced me that it doesn't belong in stunt videos
good stunts though
-
This makes me sad :( You're an awesome stunter and a great dude Red.
-
Only awesome! i really love this video all stunt are amazing! dling for sure!

While I liked the vid, the attempt at an eclectic vibe just didn't quite come off - but it came close. Having said that, it's always interesting to see a full on departure from the norm. Whatever shortfalling the overall theme had (and it was a minor one, really), the stunts more than made up for. Awe inspiring creativity and perfect execution. Some of the stunts were so well thought-out that I can't imagine how you piece them together.
The insert shots made absolutely no sense whatsoever, but what the hell. At least they made it a memorable experience. Again, with the music choice, the choice for subdued tracks was interesting, but they were probably a little too slow. Also, the rendition of 'Why Don't You Do Right?' from Who Framed Roger Rabbit is much better :P

Really appreciate your feedback kaneda. You're definitely one of my biggest inspirations in stunting
I thought it was funny what you said about the insert shots not making sense though. Almost every aspect of this vid fills some purpose; the lyrics, the pace, the colours, the insert shots, the intro. It all has to do with different stages I've been through in my life these past four years, which have caused me to grow up (hence the name).
You are right though, not even those who know me really well would necessarily know what to make of this video, so for the viewer it shouldn't make sense.
About the people saying I had good executions:
1. Many of my stunts are easy enough to re-land until I get a good execution.
2. I deliberately chose stunts with a good execution for this, as I've become kind of obsessed with style in stunting*
*no matter how impressive a stunt is, a shitty looking execution can almost always ruin that for me. and even though a stunt is really easy, a brilliant execution sometimes makes me love it.
Keep those comments coming

Been a while since I've seen a video like this, I can truly appreciate it. Thanks for creating it.
Glad to see some old ideas I had completed.
