Title: Social Club Unavailable!

I bought the GTA collection pack and spent the entire night yesterday playing EFLC and IV online. Today when I started it and Social Club opens. The only options I have is the "Cancel" and the "Play (Offline)" button with the regular "Play"-button greyed out.

I thought with the new patch Social Club wasn't needed for the game :unsure:

I have a feeling it's got to do with Steam.

I had similar problem years ago. I posted it on gtaforums and they said it's most likely fault of crack. I had original copy too. :|

Work around:

1) Download the seperate Rockstar Games Social Club application if you don't already have it. Update 1.0.7.0 may have automatically deleted it so you might have to get it here (http://media.rockstargames.com/IV/PC/RSGSC/RGSC.rar).

2) Launch the game (offline) into the main menu. Do not start the game yet.

3) ALT+TAB out and launch the RGSC application

4) ALT+TAB back into GTA IV.

If you change your system time back to 10/22/2011 it will let you login. I'm guessing a security certificate expired.
