It's quite easy to get close. Having said that I never actually grinded the damn thing.

Tried this for an hour, could get by the rail easily but facing the right direction was quite difficult, let alone locking onto the grind. Giving up for now, spending this long on such a basic looking spot is a bit pointless really :P. Here's one of many close attempts, if you want to see my run up.
