I was thinking that it's alright to make new crews n stuff but this is becoming ridiculously many. I can't even tell whether it's a stunting crew, editing crew or a GFX crew.
Maybe add a small rule or something about the limit of crews in this forum? Discuss please. :ajaja:

How would it even be controlled since there are like 6 network crews anyway? "Being in more than 2 crews gets you a 30 day ban"?

Assy or not, those replies are completely true. You complain about the amount of crews?
Come on... the amount of crews is not even rising, it's more like declining. Back in 2008 you had a crew pop up every other week. These days you got pretty much a set list of crews, with an occasional extra crew appearing once every two months or so.
And even if the amount would be rising, that would be a good thing.
More crews = more videos = more activity.
So, I'm sorry, but I gotta reward you for the most pointless topic of the decade.

No he didn't, tbh that makes no sense. The way things work out now with crews is fine as it is. Everyone can see their releases and ask questions there and if the crew is standing out in a special way people wont forget that and there will automatically come a shift to a point where they may get a section.

Ofcourse there will be conditions and agreements tied to it, it's not like every crew gets a spot in that section. It's to see if this could motivate some of the newer crews to make more video's and like, you know, sort of "battle" for a spot in the actual network crew section which'll result in more activity and interest in the whole stunting scene. ^^

TB's point was stupid, by that logic New Breed would have been in New to GTAS and in the Hall of Fame at the same time at one point :lol:

As Petar mentioned, more crews, more activity, less of that 'stunting is dying' talk, win-win.
And as red mentioned, can not and should not limit such freedoms, even if you do it's ridiculous and won't be accepted and applied in this community in the long term.

I don't like all these new things that are coming to the forums, and that's not because I want to be conservative, but because they are unnecessary and only create more confusion. All these little rules makes everyone focus on what to do, and not on what's important.

yeah, what about making a section for crew videos only, like for SA Timelimited vids in here: http://www.gtastunting.net/index.php?board=51.0 (http://www.gtastunting.net/index.php?board=51.0) it could be kinda helpfull since there are many videos like CC test+ stunt etc. for example i wanted to find previous KS crew videos and it was hard :P

I actually agree with TB. The crews in the crew network have had to work their way to earn that spot by making lots of good videos. Tossing up a new crew after a release of 1-2 crew videos doesn't exactly set the standard like WH, ATS, TMS, ect have done over the years.
Having a "New to GTAS" section would give crews a chance to show their videos without being lost in the VC Unmodded forum.
How many crews are their that want in the crew section anyway?

There could be a section in the VC and SA sections called Modded/un-modded Crew Video Releases for crews without their own section to post their video releases.
The idea with crews being less than 3 years old isnt a good idea imo. Its just like the Veteran tag.

Sorry it's just that the whole veteran thing is already pretty messed up and I didn't want that to happen with crews too. That's why I may have been a bit harsh. (Cookie also explained it better now)
But yeah, a crew section would be good. No need for a modded and unmodded one though, that will make only more messy and lure for debate again.
