Hello guys, I present you my first collab. Yep, finally it's done & despite having loads of issues & crashes whilst editing, I think the outcome is quite good. I had to render the project twice, 'cause the intro somehow got deleted on the first try, so the quality's a little lower than what you'd expect, but it's still watchable. The editing on this song was extremely complicated with the approach that I chose, I literally feel like I've done about 30 ET entries by now :lol: I wanted to use the songs full potential, that is, not cutting the song too apbrubtly, so most of the stunts are repeated several times, I hope you can look past that & enjoy this vid for what it is ;)
Big thanks goes to Venomous for the gfx stuff & baring my constant beta's & reviewing them!

Also, I'd like to apologize to Fiestero for squeezing 2 of his stunts one after another near the end, I had totally forgotten about 1 of your stunts & only realized that when I had to record another angle for the other stunts. Sorry dude.

Some colours were annoying like on MMM's further the stunts were ok and I didnt like the song at all but it was a good video

I didn't really like the editing, stunts were hmm, okay i guess, MMM's first stunt is old but the second one looks quite good, also the finisher is old, Roach did it in KS next time if i'm right

Nice vid overall :) dunno if MMM modded , but idc nice stunt , wasn't able to land it and make it undmodded . LP's stunt were so grav modded . Nice edit anyway ^^ and at the last , was it poss to wallride the tree and then land the tree behind it ?

I'd like to give you some editing tips from a viewer but with an editor's mind  :euro:

On such an emotional song, the majority of the stunts should've been shown up close. I personally think that the less close the camera is from the player/event, the less personal it feels, as the focus isn't concetrated on the center but spread out in the background as well. And second - the colours. All that blue didn't have any place there at all. Would've been better IMO if you used red&whiteglow-ish colours and fx on the chorus and dark ones on the rest. The suspense you created around the finisher may have worked if the stunt was completely mindblowing, but instead I kinda laughed at it, cause not only did I knew what he was gonna do but I knew it was gonna be completely lame (no offence).

Wow, huge thanks for that review MMM, gonna keep that in mind when editing something again, and yeah, there weren't really a good finisher choice from the stunts that I recieved and I really wanted to fulfill that suspense idea, so I had to improvise somehow  :euro:

i have to start of and say that i fuckin loved the editing, alltho some colors/ext could of been better, but it was really something diffrent and its really a great achievement on your first project in EV, stunts were great, i really loved MMM disappointed me on this one tbh, alot of great ideas on the stuns, and Determined, i fuckin love your editing :wub:

One thing I disliked was the finisher editing... MMM wrote it all... I knew what was happening at it took too long to actually happen. Nice presentation tho!

Alright, now i'm ready, gonna write my mega-review.

First of all, I'd like to compliment you on picking such a soundtrack. It's something unusual but at the same time perfect for creating a good editing, and you sure didn't disappoint on that aspect. Moving on to the editing, I have to say I'm impressed that you could pull off a editing this long and keep it pretty much consistent throughout. I sure enjoyed your ET stuff, however creating an actual full-length video and keeping the viewer interested for so long is something not everyone can do. Your effects usage clearly had thought behind them, every effect seemed to synchronize with some kinda beat or sound from the track, and the atmosphere itself shifted as the song did. 95% of editors don't care about song feeling changes and stick to the same color scheme the entire video, while you clearly differentiated the aggressive and atmospheric parts, while also blending them together smoothly. There are too many good moments in the video, so I can't name them all, but I'll mention that spinny grind stunt in LS, the editing on that one was impeccable and 100% matching! You sure did pick a perfect moment for a stunt like that.

However, it is clear that you are still getting accustomed to full-length video editing, because at some moments you got really, really carried away. Simply you let the song take you too far I guess. A clear example of this would be the finisher, where you created all that suspense for pretty much nothing. It's sure great practice, but you gotta keep in mind that it's an actual stunt video you're producing here, not just a show-off of your skills. But, as in all parts of the video, it showed you put thought behind it, and that's what matters to me.

So, I'll wrap it up by saying I really liked some of the stunts, MMM stood out as usual, great job.

8.5/10

Really good video, better than expected for sure :P. Shame about LostProphet's modded stuff, and the first angle on MMM's LS tower thing makes it look a little weird too so can't be sure about that one either, replay would solve that as I doubt it's modded. Editing was surprisingly good too, except you really drawn out the finisher too much :P. Liked it a lot :)

Wow , the editing surprised me alot!It was awesome , effects fitted in the most part , i just disliked some glows that were ugly , just try to work better on 'em next time.Stuntwise , MMM stood out and i liked Fiestero's stunts and Shifftee's grind was stylish too.

The first time I watched it I was annoyed that I could barely read the names, also some stunts were hard to see..but yeah I'm a big fan of clean editing. Second time I watched it I enjoyed it much more, I can see you worked hard on it Determined :ajaja:. MMM's LS hospital stunt was by far the best stunt for me, I still don't know if it was old. I saw an epic bail on Artifex's youtube channel and in the discription he said (I think) that KM landed it for his WH audition, but why was it never released then? :blink:. Anyway, so far the unintresting review of the noname.

Nice video guys,pretty nice edit,not my style but still nice skills.I liked shifftee's grind,but thought he should have put a dinghy for landing :p Finisher was drawn out too long imo,and hard to see the stunter name tags.

Sorry,I don't ever get into these modding arguments.I tend to avoid them but it's just getting out-of-hand and seems like it's almost becoming accepted to post modded videos in the unmodded section.

Anyway I'm pretty sure I've seen MMM hospital stunt already landed, I just can't remember when and if it was unmodded. Was back in 2007 or something, gj anyway on landing it :3

About the hospital stunt, it was landed first by KillaMarci in his WH audition (yes, he posted it and I still have it), then by Anthologie in Obsession (not sure if that one is clean), then here:

Okay, im bored, gonna write a full review  <_<

Lé editing

First off the editing was really good in my opinion, the usage of the most of the effects was really great and the rage scenes were hella mindblowing.
Anyway there were plenty of things which were pretty fucking annoying imo.
I think you should put a bit more effort into the details. As example the freeplay cam's at the church scene in the beginning, the random camshake at 0:12 ruined the whole thing for me since im a kind of perfectionist. Also the way the gate opens wasn't that good implemented, and why did you actually use 2 "Fools of Damnation" gfx.. meh whatever, you should've fixed these bugs.
Now to the main part: Gosh, using different cc's and timecyc's is a really good idea sometimes but in the first ~2 minutes the mood of the song didn't change even a fucking a bit and you used a different cc at every clip.
That ruined the WHOLE first part for me, as example the difference between the first and the second stunt, the atmosphere didn't change and you used a completely different cc which wasn't even good looking.
Only the timecyc/cc change at the Rage/Reddish part and the kind of calmish part worked in my opinion.
And as im talking about cc's i have to say that you used WAY too much blue. It wasn't really good looking at all.
Just like the excessive usage of glow, especially on MMM's first stunt. Simply not good looking i guess.
Then the part at 3:55.. that was a song passage like every other and you made the RAGEEST editing of the whole video. And these wave/bubbles effects... i mean what the heck, it didn't really fit at all.
AND FINALLY to the finisher: i think MMM said it all, the worst choice of a finisher ive seen in a LONG time since this was also the best part of the song.
You kinda overdone it with the angles but yeah, the editing itself on the finisher was really great, good job on it.

So yeah, i think that should be enough about the editing. I hope you'll put a bit more effort into the editing next time.  :)


Lé stunting

Enjoyed the stunts yep, they were all pretty fine.
MMM stood out as always, the infernus stunt was great looking and that natbump.. finally someone landed it clean, that landing is a fucking bitch.
Also cloudwalker and shifftee had some or better an awesome stunt.
I think the negative side of it was only lostprophet, who modded the lamest method of the whole universe, good job dude, good fucking job.


LÉ OVERALL: Good video, enjoyed it. And once again good job on the editing determined.

About the video, I enjoyed it I truly did but some CC's were annoying and some blurs were annoying for my eyes but overall the editing was top job and the stunting was okay for the most part  :ajaja: Lostprophet's lame stucks were... hmmm.. lame  :ajaja: MMM's stunts stood out, great job Boian  :ajaja: Others had cool stunts too  :ajaja:

Lost lilj's backbump2prec in LV, shame for your bad execution on it but oh well  ;)

Great video. The editing was awesome! and very intense. The epic editing is the main reason i like this video so much.
The stunts werent that great. There were quite a few boring stunts but a good variety. Lostprophet obviously modded, its not that hard to sort through the stunts and not use the obviously modded ones  :|

This video was nice. Stuntingwise was pretty good except Lostprophet who fucked it.
The editing is at some points pretty good but I couldn't even see the nametags at some parts, the song wasn't my taste but I think you gave a great editing to it, but gonna say something:

Try not to do those shakes with Camhack, it's pretty hard to give perfect cam movements.
Also the editing in the finisher became annoying, try not to overshow the stunt.

So a nice work Determined, I think you worked hard, hope to see more from you.

Oh, and about those 2 versions of title... it's just that I had already made the intro & rendered it, so I deleted the project files & then later I noticed that it looks realli crap, so I asked Venom to make me one, but i had forgotten about not having the clips that i need to blend it in, so I just kinda transitioned the 2. I tried masking at first, but for some reason it kept fucking up, even if I did a perfect mask, it went way off at times for no reason.

A really, really well edited collab! Epic editing, Kaarleen! ;) Some really nice stunts in it and overall stuntwise it was good. Stood outs were obviously MMM's stunts.. Other did great as well! Enjoyable watch! GJ! :a-cheer:

Damn I really tried to enjoy the video but I failed. The song was blergh, most of the stunts were also a bit blergh and modded aswell <_<. The editing was cool but the colours were a bit eye-hurting and you didnt have to show each stunt 3 times before we knew what was going to happen anyway. It's not good to fill a stunt video with 300 shows of a same stunt , instead ask more stunters to send stunts :P

And I didn't want to cut the song abruptly, I tried my best to make the vid end exactly where I wanted, the song was the main reason why I made organized the collab, so exchanging it was out of question.

here i go Karļikānus, so bout edit i think that it was beyond epic, like man didn`t knew you could pull of such a big project, tbh i thought you`ll fail, but hell no you amazed me and i was wrong, it was clearly awesome, your dedication to this video was awesome, how hard you worked on it, no matter all the shitty crashes and issues you had, still you managed to make it awesome and really enjoyable, one litlle thing i didn`t liked was nametags, they were indeed too small and unnoticable. apart from that as i already said it was epic. awesome colors and transitions between stunts [except the ones i told you bouth  :ninja:] pace and atmosphere was mindblowing, i was enjoyed the whole video, even if i watched it few times, not boring at all.

bout stunts, mehmeh, they were pretty bad, except few ones, kix and kitz were cool. and well long storry short there were some cool stuff but nothing amazing or mindblowing.
