Hey. I have a problem with my cs:s. While i have my PC screen pretty bright, my in game screen is dark as hell. Steam has this visibility test where you can read "clearly visible" etc. I can't even see "clearly visible". So on dark places and I mean not very dark but just a little, I can't see nothing. I heard there's possiblity of either changing config or and here's what im on about downloading some kinda software to brighten the game up. Does anyone have a program to do it (permanently or not)?

I used some program like that while i was playing on pokemod as ghastly, i was invisible and i couldnt see shit, gonna do some research :ninja:

i already found 2 programs - both work on my screen while not in game, both doesn't work in game :unsure:

were you playing css before without any problems ? because today was the update and the game got completely new colors and brightness, its also a bit darker for me than before...

Im not this stupid :euro:
I know game had update and that's why im posting. It was already too dark before but know it's harly playable.
I have my in-game gamma set on max.

Sure your not running 16 bit colours or a bad config? Maybe you've set dxlevel wrong in commandline? Set the video rendering to hardware? Get rid of anything that you find useless and try loading again. No difference in brightness for me after update.
