Title: SAiVC freeplay problem
Post by: insLain on February 08, 2011, 09:42:49 AM: So I have a big problem with my saivc freeplay <_< When I press "a" or change the weather or do everything else with it my game crashes instantly.. I tried with downloading new freeplay, reinstalling my saivc, deleting gta_vc.set and nothing works. Any ideas :unsure: ?

Leevi's version crashed like hell for me when i tried it.

If you have a 64bit operating system that might cause problems. But if its only SAiVC that's having problems (normal VC etc works fine), then perhaps it is SAiVC itself causing the problems. There's a bunch of versions out there, some with more changes (on top of just the map mod) than others, and its possible that some of these changes effected the .exe enough to throw off the memory address offsets that Freeplay uses. I can't say for sure, so see if anyone else has a version that Freeplay works with, and see if you can snag it from them.

Post by: insLain on February 09, 2011, 05:21:36 AM: It works fine in LC and VC, so it's from the SAiVC. I use Cdarmy's version which is the best imo but surely I will try other versions. First I will try with the one DeV posted :ajaja:

E: Leevi's SAiVC crashes when I try to stunt on it but atleast my freeplay works fine there. Looks like I'll rec stunts there :happy: And thank you for the advices :a-cheer:

my repack have two main.scm, one, which going in game, load game fast, but with lod problems, second, which going in folder and you must install it, load game slowly, but without lods, so you will not have problems with lods, first better for stunting, second better for recording

and cdarmy version sucks

all my repacks are the beAst

lol, don't forget about second main.scm if you want record video, replacing pretty simple, i didn't put it like first in the game, because it is stunters repack, not editors

no, first one, which load game fast, load lods, which developers of saivc maked not perfect, second just not load lods and everything looks ok
