The video displays of MPEG/MP4 files are not loading and can't find a fix. I know it's the 'it's not that big of a deal just live with it' problem but it's
annoying when I can't recognize a vid by the display.. so I need it fixed.
Tried relogging, rebooting and system restore and none of it helped, simply refreshing the folder did nothing and I don't think I have any viruses.

Codec problem, I suppose... Have u recently installed a plug-in for videos? or a player? something like that...
check if Windows had created a new restore point recently...

test Media player classic that runs several types of files
just to test if the problem is with the player you're using or something else
