This week's blast from the past was selected and written by Daffy

Found (http://www.gtastunting.net/index.php?topic=10788&hl=) by Dannye was a video that took stunting in a different direction.
At the time it was released most people were focused on landing higher and higher roofs while forgetting all the things we could do while we were trying to touch the sky.

It made people look at stunting from a whole new perspective where it was not just about reaching the highest roofs but using the environment in a more creative way and realize that the objects around us served more purposes than just being stationary bumps.

Dannye is well known for his creative thinking and inventive approach and he is also the creator of the CSM method we all... well kind of have a hate/love relationship to today.
He is also the winner of the second stunting league.

The video to this is a huge source of inspiration and should be seen as no less, and when it came a lot of us had several "why didn't I think of that" moments while watching and hopefully this video can inspire those who haven't had the pleasure of watching yet to see the area around them with new eyes.

Notable stunts were: Tank heli-hit at the airport, the bump to billboard combo in little Havana, the downtown taxi boost to precision, the junkyard bsm to grind and the infernus wallride.

I pretty much fell in love with this video the first time I watched it a couple months ago. I'm glad more people can watch this now! every stunt in this video was super good looking and the song is great.

Still an amazing video if you ask me.
The intro and outro owns, just as the main soundtrack.

E: you could also could have mention that he made the main.scm that's still been used by everyone

It's called "Dannye's Ultimate MAIN.SCM", it's kinda obvious... almost a bit too obvious if you catch my drift.

I remember being extremely impressed the first time i saw this video.. personally i think this vid was way ahead of its time.. gudstuff.

I love this video. For me it is up there UnorthodoX, TAOS and See What I See for sheer creativity.

Faves are the grab at 3:48 and the packer2wallride2stoppie2ledgegrind2wtf-precision-stunt at 4:31. I also love the wallride stoppie at 1:55 – it is a one of a kind stunt.

great video, maybe the best in the rubric so far  :)
my favourite stunts were the stoppie2wallride2grind at 1:55 and the sanches bsm2wallride at 4:10

obtw thank for the info that he invented the CSM method I was wondering who it was  :P

This is one of the best videos ever made, I love the variety and the creativity of the stunts on it, I remember I was amazed by the packer2wallrides on this video.

Dannye is a stunting genyus.

I have always loved Dannye. His style is epic. His editing is realy basic, but still it rocks more than some complicated ones, with uber effects. And his stunts have always been on the top! This realy deserved to be Blast From The Past :)

Still a superb vid - good song, simple and effective editing, quality stunts, such a cool flow to the whole thing.

Great video, some really mindblowing stuff in there for its time and actually still now. The editing just flows real smooth and some stunts are really creative. Such a good video this is.

Definitely one of the most enjoyable videos to watch at the time. Usually I don't like these sorts of videos, but I thought this was very well done and showed off dannye's trademarked style brilliantly. Just a cool video overall.

One of, if not my favourite video ever. Dannye just got right with stunting, everything from the stunts themselves, to editing and just his overall attitude.

Great shout on using this video for this feature, it's a fucking inspiration.
