Title: Weird problem
Post by: JustCaus3 on January 06, 2011, 11:50:02 AM
A friend of mine Damster is having a weird problem, everytime when he tries to enter the forums it says:
"Take a really, really deep breath....
We're going to do a couple of experiments. Be right back with the first one."

What is that actually?

AJ made a post about this, it's because we moved to a new server and the host needs to refresh all the DNS for each member or something so that's why there might be people not being able to connect.

I'd suggest you PM AJ about this so he can contact the hosters if he cant get on here soon.

It's out of my and the hosting company's control. It's the way your ISP or DNS provider handles DNS refreshes. It may take a matter of a few hours and some can take a few days. You can change the DNS provider to one who updates more frequently such as Google DNS or OpenDNS. Instructions for changing to Google's DNS are provided here (http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using.html).
