Herr-Dav' already said that he will mainly edit our videos, everything else is just a plus. I'm sure he will contribute with something else than editing.

That just doesn't make any sence. I really want to see epic stuff from him in the next CV. Otherwise I will say that this was the worst decision ever.
Prepare for tons of noob audis. Because everyone will think he can join because 70% of the GTAS community is better than BeaT stunting wise. And letting someone join because of editing was stupid with JEK and DSS already.

you CANNOT be better than other people in stunting. by stunting some time you dont gain skill. The only thing that makes some stunts better than others is the DEDICATION put in the stunt, not skill. Its not the case that you get better the longer you stunt.

Eh, you can say that about every game. You have to put time and effort in to a game to gain skill and knowledge. For an example, I can't stunt for shit GTA IV, but Daksad and Raekwon can do huge bumps and they know exactly how to do it, I don't.

Some people's idea of a crew involves more than just putting the best stunters together regardless of personality. Some of us like to have fun with our friends (nohomo), being in a crew with people you like brings a good feeling of unity.
When we accepted Killerstunter into GLS - his stunts sucked :P but we accepted him because of his lovely personality (although his stunts did show a lot of potential), and the contributing factors that would have on the crew.
This whole outlook lots of new members have on stunting is so lame, and orientates on being a successful stunter not determined by the fun you have, but by how many people watch your videos.
You don't need to have someone in your crew to let them stunt in your videos, but it won't be as fun as licking his balls including him.
I'm not gay.

Editing is a huge part of the videomaking process; it can drastically change the way people perceive a video, and what they remember it for. If they're letting BeaT take on such a task, why not let him in the crew? I think he's a deserving member and from my experiences with him at least, he's a nice guy and I think he can take WH videos up a notch. Good job to both :)

Oh really? Tell me some downsides of that then? :sleep: JEK did appear in some of DSS' stunting videos and made great editings which made DSS more known to the public, which wasn't a bad thing. Not to mention he was a nice guy!
As for Beat (the capital "T" looks dull btw, just use "Beat", that looks alot better, including in your videos :happy:).
I think both WH and him are getting provid of this. WH gets a great editor (and maybe a secret high skilled stunter, who knows?), and if not, then Beat gets the chance to develop in stunting. Win-win? :cc_detective:

who the fuck cares if someone didnt make an audition, I didnt make one for USS neither i did for DSS, I asked and they agreed. Nowedays I hardly land something decent but I think DSS wont kick me out or whatever. I have fun in the crew and thats what matters.

Just a little something on my mind here. I read some posts about editing being a huge part of a video, though this might be true, but the way you guys edit it is just too much for me. Where are those awesome edits from before? like in Titans, Progression and Underestimated. All of these videos give me a much much MUCH better feel than all of these new edits with tons of color correction(I'm not saying the old videos didn't have CC's, they were just less noticeable changes,) and loads of fancy effects 'n' stuff. Also no need to fucking have a 1080p stunt video wtf. and all of these hq, mq, lq. Why not just have one render.
I'm just saying you guys (everyone these days really) overdo the editing part IMO.

Ye, Beat/BeaT/beat/BEAT/bEAt/BeAt..... I also think that it's a wonderful addition, he hasn't been stunting, or not atleast in random collabs so the only thing that he may do is surprise us with his stunting, so can't wait to see his stuff.. His editing are also the typical flash thing which still works somehow, but hope he will do something different also in his WH editings :ajaja:

Then the fucking retarded part. I do agree about the effects and overwhored colors which I hope BeaT won't go for with WH videos at least but what the fuck is wrong with rendering many different versions of the video? Fuck you and go to hell seriously for being a selfish and ignorant, when you go out buying a shoe with a shoe size 42 you don't complain to the shoe shop manager about the fact that there are sizes 38 and 44 in the store and that they should only have the shoe size of yours. Perhaps some people have a good PC, screen and audio system to get enough out of almost lossless video and FLAC audio, perhaps some people don't have a system good enough to play the video so you can go out for a compromise of sharing a medium one which the hi-fist ain't happy with and the shitty-rig'd can barely play but we instead bring out all the shoe-sizes so that you can surely pick your own. Do not complain about something that doesn't do any bad but doesn't happen to fit you.
Also to Sweet's as good argument as always (it's kinda special that there is one though, that's why I decided to answer) this is surely not the first member welcoming topic ever, it's been done all the time but I think you know that.

This man is wise. Listen to him. Except for the hq/mq/lq part, cause otherwise I definitely can't watch any videos anymore cause everybody's got a much better PC than I do :P
Also, I would like to note that I sincerely hope that you stick to the baby-raping, I-cum-blood style videos since Beat's epilectic-stroke style videos are all pieces of shit (e.g. I tried to watch AUREUS but goddamn it Beat, that editing sucked so hard).
But yeah, I fucking get annoyed by the whole editing hype as well. I also like to note that while I seriously hope nobody will trust Beat with their reps, I also hope he (as well as Sear of course) have a good time in WH.

I like BeaT's editing, is very enjoyable and smooth, but I just can't imagine a WH crew video with that kind of edit. I always preferred simple editors like Daffy, Herr-Dav, Daksad, KillaMarci, they are far more efficient than editorslike WaRoW, Rusch, BeaT, etc. imo, the main reason why I don't like their editing that much is because their edit lacks atmosphere.
I just wish there would be more editors like BoBSaget, Ostits, Kert or Samurai. That's what WH really needs.

I like BeaT's editing, is very enjoyable and smooth, but I just can't imagine a WH crew video with that kind of edit. I always preferred simple editors like Daffy, Herr-Dav, Daksad, KillaMarci, they are far more efficient than editorslike WaRoW, Rusch, BeaT, etc. imo, the main reason why I don't like their editing that much is because their edit lacks atmosphere.

Doesn't mean he's wise and we should listen to him, you just happen to share the same kind of opinion.
You're blocking other peoples access to the party just because you can't get to them, ever thought that you might not be that much into editing because you don't have a PC powerful enough to edit that way and because you can't really get into the HD-qualities because you can't play them?
I say stick to your 640x480 but don't share your opinions as right ones and tell us who to listen to just because of that. We won't listen to you or darkstar.

I am just saying, WHY in gods name would you want to watch a stunt vid in 1080p when your computer screen probably isn't even close to that resolution. that's like buying a huge shoe when your foot is half the size (just using your example here) and yeah some of you might have a HD tv or whatever that you want to watch it on but wtf. and that's why I think a medium quality one would be better and not to mention faster. and for those who can't handle a medium sized file, that's what streaming is for. why would you want a low res on your computer were you can't see squat? Personally I just watch streaming of videos now, because the file sizes are just fucking huge.

Then stick to your streaming then? People do download the 1080p quality and why they do that is because they want it, otherwise they wouldn't download it.
If we have different qualities for everyone, you shouldn't complain since they get what they want.

Why shouldn't someone watch the video like that if they enjoy it, and are able to view it that way? You have probably been to the cinema, or watched a Bluray/HD DVD film at some point in your life. So you are effectively saying we forget them and watch them in 640 x 480 forever?
I do agree with you about streaming though. Its always better when someone uploads a streaming link first, instead of forcing you to download a huge XQ file at 1.2kb/s <_<

Alright, great. It is right there called MQ, so I don't see the problem. Don't mind the other renders, they're off our time, not yours. You don't have to download them, just one is enough. Speed of download ain't a problem these days either and in case you spend a year waiting for a WH video a few hours downloading shouldn't hurt that much more.

Yes, it's right there. In case you don't feel like downloading, you can stream it too. In case you feel like downloading, don't mind the streaming. It ain't there to hurt you.

That's for those who either don't have the PC powerful enough to play higher ones or who just want some kind of a copy to watch it later on. It's never so low quality that you wouldn't be able to see a squat though.

You do? Good, I'm sure that at least within WH video releases you'll be given a streaming option in the future too. For a low filesize you should go for low filesize render but then don't complain that you can't see a squat since the video codec developing ain't in our hands, I mean we'd like to have lower filesizes with the same quality too but that just ain't possible. Dunno what kind of a connection you have but downloading a 300 MB video with 1 Mbit connection which I have takes 50 minutes and if you don't feel like using that time downloading a video then don't. Others will, but that ain't your problem either.
I don't seriously get your problem dude. You're given a render fitting your needs and a streaming too, why to complain? I'd get the complain if there'd be only one render and someone couldn't watch it or someone would request a better quality one (which happens a lot) since then there's actually missing something, but why to complain when there's some extra renders that you don't happen to need? Some other might, everyone does not share the same taste you do.

I love choppy quality tbh, it's just kinda pleasant to look at, call me crazy, but that's how it seems for me.
I'm not everyone tho, so it's nice to have a large variety of qualities, for each their own. Mkvs don't make sense to me tho.
