Title: regina csm halp

I'm trying to do the finisher from Devour II but I can't get the god-forsaken piece of shit of a Regina to get stuck in the tree like it's supposed to. Always slides down too much. This applies to all of those trees, as well. I can get an Infernus stuck there no problem but the Regina likes being a stuck up son of a bitch and not stay put. Help please? Thanks guise.

I agree it's a bitch to set them up along these trees. I find setting the car a little off center of the tree helps, since it seems the cols are weird. Just keep trying, mess around with placement and you'll get it.

Thanks for the advice, but I got it. I put a tank a bit in front of the tree to keep me from sliding down so the Regina would wiggle around a bit before settling in place and not sliding down, and 3 hours later landed the stunt. :P

Without me making any accusations, I thought it looked quite strange

But if it is infact clean, great job on landing it! Tried it for a bit after Devour 2 was released, but couldn't get the height  :P

Well the bump looks weird but I guess it can be possible, so good job on landing it.

Noah,
Thanks. I respect your opinion, but I think the fact that the first person that landed it was boxXx, it became the default for that stunt. Now if it doesn't look exactly like that, it's modded, or looks strange. (Bumps always vary)
I honestly have no idea what looks wrong with this stunt (the bump on the 2nd cam angle looks strange, yes, but from other angles it seems fine, to me), but I bet 100% that if a "pro" or a long time VC stunter released this exact same stunt, not a single thought of it being modded would come to anyone's mind. It's all just predetermined opinions of me from my past in SA. Once again, I respect your opinion, but I'm just saying that with regards to anyone.
:)

Thanks for the nice comments though, from those of you.

Well Taco because of your past I have no reason to believe that was unmodded, so I'm gonna say you modded that :P But if it is unmodded, good job landing it, its hard but not that hard really, try the mayday III finisher and shit your pants :P

In case my memory serves me correctly it took boxXx four days to land that Devour II finisher and a few hours for the Mayday III finisher.

Thanks. :) Gotta see it and then try it.

e// Oh that's what it is. I remember trying to do it earlier. Setting up the Regina, it's even fucking harder to get it stuck there than DII's finisher. Gonna try it anyway. :P

clearly modded, when you hit the apex of your height you continue with forward momentum much longer than is possible with default gravity, normally right after your apex you would start to fall downward (as that is how gravity works..) but you clearly hover for a moment and then begin to fall, I imagine that either the mass of your PCJ is less than normal or the gravity is changed by 1 - 5 %.

Post by: tacojoe on November 27, 2010, 04:13:10 PM
Sorry to disappoint you TB, but no. Not gravity modded (idk how to either) nor mass changed. I don't see where you're getting this hover/5% gravity bullshit from. And you don't immediately fall downward at the top of the arc; you are at rest for a split second (noticeable on large distance stunts) before gradually increasing downward speed.

Gave up on the Mayday III finisher. Got 196 ft once but never higher. The Regina got unstuck so I cba to restuck it. :/ Might try it later.

or the gravity is changed by 1 - 5 %.
1%? Like you'd be able to spot such a minor alteration.

Do me a favor pl0x, get within 6 feet of landing this and post a replay. I want to see how a clean landing would look like. Since most of these "stunters" suck at stunting (not noah, puzz or dagger <33), only profess in crying, I'm asking you for this, SS (shouldn't take more than 20 mins). Please?
:)

Thats why it was an approximation. hence the 1- 5% it could be more, it just looks unusual, ive seen  Boxxx's attempt and rep of the stunt, and it looked NOTHING like taco's. there was no hang time at the apex.

@Mythic yeah thats not how I remembered it :P but regardless of how long boxxx spent on these stunts - I've spent around 50 hours total on the mayday III finisher and bailed, edged or slid off like 10 times... It took me around... 5 hours to land the Devour II finisher :P
