So who's going to buy it at the end of November ?

I've been waiting for it ever since I bought my ps3 3 years ago, always been a fan and played them all from the 1st one. I can't wait to get my nerves on the driver's licences again.

And Genyus, it's most likely to be the real date since the game is "gold" meaning it's sent to the factory :D

And recently when I found out there are some hidden cars I started playing GT2 again, already finished all the races... For the 6th time I think. :lol:

Yes I hadn't logged into PSN for ages :euro:
I bought the game today when I walked in front of a store that was openly selling it before the release :P

Heh bought it at the FNAC La Défense , they already had a wall of GT5 full. Didn't check the other stores but it seems every store released it before the release :cc_detective:

So far, I really enjoyed my time on this game as expected the driving is near perfection and needs a bit of training to get mastered even in the beginning with slow cars (Training I already had since I've played all the GTs hehe). The Diversification made in this opus is enjoyable, yet I've been able to race with karts, play nascar races and a few special races.

The graphics are good but I have to admit I'm disappointed, expected more. Of course the 200 premiums vehicles are most likely to be off the hook, but the 800 standards are far more rushed. On another note, I feel the environment has been left over, trees are fine but spectators look almost alike other versions.

On the audio side, nothing to criticize. Soundtrack is always well-chosen, and the motors seems to be close to reality (however I can't judge since I haven't had the chance to listen to so many cars).

Globally speaking, I'm happy with GT5 it's definatly what I was expecting for "a Gran Turismo new generation" , but it adds something more. This one offers some depth the others hadn't.

That's a pretty cool mod to earn money without doing anything, problem is that pilots are pretty bad once you reach the 12+ level. Haven't won a race since, always need a way better vehicle than the opponents, and it's not enough heh

PC's are like a million times better than consoles in graphics (which I think you agree with), its just that Sony want it exclusive so people buy PS3's.

Post by: Darkyy on January 08, 2011, 03:47:19 PM: Play pleasure is what should matters, not graphics. I've had less fun on the present generation than in the past, even with greater graphics. And computer gaming is wayyyy too geeky and money consuming to be called "past time activity".

I've dropped GT5 lately, have to admit it's not that entertaining. Was expecting a revolution after those several reports, but it's definitely just an upscale with fewer options which is disappointing to be fair !

As darkyy i dropped it, but not for the same reason. I need to order a gaming wheel and i don't want to finish the game before getting that wheel.

It sure would be better with a wheel, I'll get back to it, but I'm not as hooked as I was when playing GT3/4 !
