Yes, i know it's hardcore overedited, but i just wanted to try something like that... It took me about two and a half hours. Yea, the colors doesnt look that good but i wanted to make them look like policelights because in the song it sounds like that.

Not really overedited, I could still clearly see what's going on.
Next time, try editing the clips as much as blasting them with various effects, if you really want to overedit them
Without transitions the effects don't really blend with the clip, also try using a bigger variety of color fx, tbh I really didn't like those 2 (red & blue) they looked really plain, didn't have any"edge" to them. You could've still made them look better & have them resemble police siren lights :euro:
But nonetheless, it was pretty good, mostly synch-wise, keep it up :cc_detective:

Some of the FX you used in between the color flashes were really cool. As for the colorflashes, they could have either been weaker and/or you didnt have to flash over the whole screen.

I think the concept you had was pretty nice, I liked your ideas a lot. However, in practice I don't think it worked out. A key thing you're doing which is good is thinking about the effects, and trying to link them to the meaning in the song, so the police lights is a good idea. However, it all comes off a little too in your face. The effects themselves also didn't feel integrated into the clip, they felt like overlays more than actual lights, grain etc. Improving effect quality comes with time, and you're well on the way to making some good edits providing you tone things down a little bit! :)
Also, a good rule of thumb would be to start with a clean patch, a rough edit. Get that perfected, and then decide what you're going to do with effects, it'll help you see what's necessary. I would also note that overediting isn't a style, it's a problem you should avoid :P

Thank you for your tips Ptrvy and ss
Oh and SS, i didn't say i would always edit like that...i just wanted to try out putting all out of a song that is possible, so it was just a test ;)

Yeah I know, I'm just mentioning it. No problem :D

lol like meat said, not much of an overedit. most of the video was just the red and blue but I like how it kind of became the CC for the video itself. add some angles, some variety and it would have been ossim :D

That was quite alright. :euro:

I'm going to comment sarcastically on it.
