here is a problem again :angry:
i wanted to see my rep but i dont know how,
i clicked with right button mouse on my rep and clicked ''opening with...'' and i opened
''vice city'' and i see this file: (http://imgur.com/LZfZD.png)
how do i change it in normal file? <_<

don't make anything with that file, if you rename it you can't open it in-game
always keep it in "replay.rep", and in-game press F3 you can watch it again, thats all

1.copy a rep file of you want watch

2.open your GTA User Files folder（If is VC or SAiVC rep file,open GTA Vice City User Files,if is LC rep file,open GTA LC User Files,if is SA rep file,open GTA San Andreas User Files）

3.if the folder have replay.rep, delete it

4.paste your "copy rep file"

5.rename it to replay.rep,then open GTA,press f3,finish :lol:

oh my goodness, you sure have a lot of problems..
OK! Let's try to sort this out. You saved a rep, (hope you can do that much). BUT! you changed it to poopstarmcfuckface.asshole well, gta doesn't play .asshole files i'm afraid my good sir! Nevertheless we can change this, together.
Remember our good buddy poopstarmcfuckface.asshole? well, we're going to get him a legal name change. replay.rep will suffice. you're going to take our little buddy replay.rep and throw him into your, vice city user files folder. start up your game (lets pray you know how to do that) and when you start playing press F3. (No dont hold F and press three. It's the button on top). Tap it. GASP! Your replay! There he is!
Ok now remember, replay.rep is a very exclusive name. So when you want to save a new stunt, be sure to rename your replay.rep to poopstarmcfuckface.rep, otherwise you will lose your replay forever! I hope this helps you. I hope you don't have anymore problems, or you could ya know... read the game manual. After all, you did purchase the game, DIDN'T YOU!? :angry:

that is easy,copy your replay.rep,and rename=>"my 4th stuntreplay.rep"

It seems like you've tried to open "replay" with Wordpad and the lookout of the file changed through that. Is that your problem, that it should look like the file to the left? Because it doesn't matter, aslong as you put ".rep" at the end, so it should be "replay.rep".
Believe me, in the beginning I thought I could see the replay.rep in Windows Media Player or VLC, same with torrents which I thought were just extremely compressed files.
Or has your question already been answered?

i know but the problem is you see the picture of my file... that is wrong, i opened it with vice city..
how do i change is to the picture as you.

the gtavcsfsomething is save game file, get it?
replay file is for replays, to play it you rename it to replay.rep and press f3 in game, then you rename it to whatever you want

As UG already mentioned, it doesn't matter what the file icon looks like, your rep is fine & don't worry that it looks like a wordpad file, it does that if you try to open it like that.

Open the game first, then watch the replay INGAME, you dont use the Openwith function of the right click, it wont work.
