I've just bought a new computer with windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. I want to install gta sa, but when it is half the way I get an error.
"CRC error: The file C:\Programe files (x86)\Rockstar games\GTA San andreas\audio\SFX\SPC_NA doesn't match the file in the setup's.cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor."
I can choose these 3 options: cancel, retry, ignore.
If I click on retry nothing happens and if I click on ignore the install is going further but I get 3 more CRC errors in the installation.
I tryed to install it with a cd and with mounting both the same problem.
So when the installation was completed I started the game. It works perfectly but after 20 sec I get a message: "GTA San Andreas does not work anymore" I keep getting this message.
I've tryed to run it in windows xp and 98 but it doesn't work.
BTW I use a illigal version :P But that has nothing to do with my problem

9/10 times you download games you get problems so it's bullshit that you said it's not the problem of dling it. I bought it and never had a problem installing it.
so do what UG said :)
