Title: Next skin project [HAZMAT Suit]
Post by: Trialz on August 30, 2010, 08:26:41 AM
I am helping out somebody making a Chernobyl mod for GTASA. I joined in and said I can make a HAZMAT suit.

What I have planned out is:

Track Suit: Make it yellow with foreshadows and etc
Track Suit Pants: ''
Parachute: Make a CLEO so the parachute doesnt go off, and reskin it to resemble an air pack

Then, I have no idea what do do the the see through helmet.

I can only .txd mod, not .dff mod... I am not too sure if I can change the transpearancy of the dirtbike helmet to make it more see through.

Can someone help me through this?

Try working with the alpha layers of the txd.

Alpha is the transparency of the object.
If alpha is white then it's 100% visible, if it's black, it's invisible, you can mess around with it, the darker the alpha, the more transparent the image.

So its not like I press Ctrl+L for the transparencies, and save then import it?

I guess so, if you're working with png's, I mainly work with bmps, so I use 2 different layers.

Even when I cut it out, the whole image goes transparent.
