I would try it out, if my PC would run games made 2006/7 +
Anyways, can't wait to get a new PC to try it out.

To get rid of the time limit (your town is already limited, why make a time limit?):
1. Open Mafia2.exe in a hex editor
2. Go to line 000F5380
3. Find D9 56 4C on that line and replace it with 90 90 90
4. ? ? ?
5. Profit.

Oh and if your getting really bad slowdown with PhysX enabled, you need to use the new drivers:
1. Go to the game folder
2. Open the 3rd folder
3. Start the PhysX installer in that folder. It should first prompt you as a removal tool, remove it.
4. Start the installer again to install the new PhysX drivers

It looked like the first Mafia with the updated graphics WHICH were a downfall anyway (better optimization than GTA IV tho)

the demo disappointed me a bit, a lot of bugs and unfinished mapping/features.
