I'm really thinking this is a knock off of alien swarm.. And it costs money... similar name, similar design, similar gameplay..

It does look exactly the same, just more realistic i suppose.

it did come out a couple weeks (or a month) before swarm did.

I'm fairly sure Alien Swarm was originally a HL2 mod being made several years ago. Atleast, I remember reading about it in some nerd magazine back then.

well, it was a mod for UT2k4, and they WERE porting it to the source engine, but valve hired the dudes and everyone assumed the project wasn't coming. and then Alien Breed was released a month ago, but alien swarm came out adn everyone forgot about breed.

Alien Swarm is free, Alien Breed is not. If it plays the same then I'd suggest not buying it even if alien swarm is a rip off
