Title: SAiVC For Dummies
Post by: Flat Face on July 16, 2010, 07:59:14 AM: Ok just a few things I did when I didn't have the net

I had planned on editing the american.gxt to say "please wait" in the beginning rather than "press shift" but I couldn't edit the correct GXT's without causing crashes <_< so when the text flashes, just wait for my backing to show up.

installation is pretty self explanatory, make sure you run the SAiVC.exe not the VC one.

*if you still have LOD issues then reload the game until they don't show up, normally they don't bother me as I only get 2-3 sometimes but for editing, I'd keept reloading until I get it perfect*

I've had my SAiVC version for months and has never let me down.

e: lol postcount, but yeah might help some stunters who don't understand the word 'shift'

Post by: Flat Face on July 16, 2010, 07:58:01 PM: To be honest, this just looks a little nicer in the beginning and the background doesn't load until the game's loaded fully which is why I wanted the text to say "please wait" and then the background come up and say "press shift"

because if you press shift before this loads, the LOD city shows up. *also if you run the VC exe then lod city shows up no matter what*
