The ending of the trailer is awesome! but I don't know what to expect from the movie, it looks a bit low-budget. :hmm:

For a fake trailer, that was fucking awesome. I really hope to see a good Mortal Kombat movie, for a change. Annihilation was good when I was alot younger but now when I watch it, I understand that they lamed the movie lol. The only fight sequence I liked from Annihilation was Scorpion Vs. Sub-Zero.

PS. Scorpion fucking owns. This actually got me hyped to fire up MK III and play as Scorpion lol.

Aww, 2013? But we're gonna die in 2012. :( We'll find out if the trailer is fake or not soon I guess, can't seriously wait! :P

If you read the link that balas posted it states that the trailer was made as an interpretation of the direction that a few director/producers would take the movie in should they be given the chance.
It was apparantly made for less than $8000 which is pretty damn good budgetting.

Yeah on IMDB it says

Warner Bros. looking to reboot franchise, but Threshold Entertainment filed new breach of contract lawsuit to prevent it from moving forward.

and so they made this trailer to proof.

This "fanmade" trailer looks really awesome.
Baraka looks kinda strange though. More like Eddy Gordo from Tekken with blades
