Vegas only support .avi files from what a I know and only with a special codec o,o
Thats probably your Problem.
-
vegas 7 is an old version and it might not support blu ray files
seriously suspicious one you are not funny
-
It must be a codec problem, i've got sometimes the same problem in vegas 9.0 with recorded files via fraps.
-
seriously suspicious one you are not funny
I know I was bored
-
had the same shit once when i downloaded. Means your settings doesn't support Vegas.
It ain't a codec error. That's alot different. When you just turn your vegas on/off, it always goes away (for me). Even if I have the error, nothing really happends, only sometimes black parts and transitions are raped :/.

You're not funny either.
How come you didnt get suspended yet with your non-sense and not usefull posts?
Ontopic: Which format was it downloaded as? If its not avi/wmv/mp4 i would suggest converting it, i had several problems once while not using any of those 3 formats
Oh, and as far as i know, only Vegas 9 Support blu-ray steff
-
I'm going to guess it's a .m2ts file, Vegas should be able to decode AVC/H.264 files but does not have a demultiplexer (demuxer/splitter) for previous versions of Vegas.
You can download a program called "eac3to" and demux the individual audio and video streams from the .m2ts file and then import them to Vegas which should be able to decode them then.
And SuspiciousOne, if I see one more post like that from you I'm going to suspend you for as long as I feel like.

if video which you want to import to SV is in .wmv you need to convert it to .avi and i think that will work
-
codec problem :ajaja:
it happens to me too when i want to put xfire-recorded stuff to sony vegas, after rendering u just can see a black shit :cheersad:
