Title: Problem
Post by: вαℓυ on May 28, 2010, 03:17:09 PM
Hey guys, I got a little problem and I wasn't really expecting to get it. I downloaded a 720p .mkv video and I wanted to cut a specific part from the video and upload it to youtube but I ran into some trouble, I found out that I can't import mkv files into vegas. I open up Total Video Converter and convert the video to H264 Avi High Quality, the quality is intact but the audio appears to be out of sync, the audio is 1-2 seconds late so that didn't work either. I tried everything lol, I tried using a program called MKVExtractGUI, AVI-MuxGUI ect. but none of these worked. I wasn't really expecting this to be this complicated, I mean, I just wanted to upload a video to youtube with good quality. Can anyone please help me do this somehow lol? Help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance guys. :)

Lock the video layer in Vegas of the movie you converted and then slide the audio to the right place until it's synched, then unlock the video layer and voila. ;P
