Title: Extremley big virus

I've got this annoying problem, most likely a virus. Actually, Im sure its a virus. I can't see my desktop and my taskbar (explorer.exe virus most likely), and when I try to access my applications through TAsk Manager (control + shift + esc), I instantly get a "not responding" message. When I try to open My Computer with a key combination (start button + E) I get a message "explorer,exe has stopped working". That means I cant open anything. Please if you have any suggestions apart from re-installing Windows (which I think is the only thing I can do).

Post by: boxXx on February 03, 2010, 10:10:45 AM: Untrue, most of the time its those anoying motherfuckers posting random virusses on random p2p networks, also torrents are properly the main concept when it comes to virusses.

What you should do is run XP of a cd ( yes a live cd, intergrate a virus scanner before doing that lol ) run a scan through the cd if that doesn't work you could perhaps back your shit up through that live cd to either a External hdd or some dvd's whatever you perfer.

You can get virus' from downloading pretty much anything :S

You should have tried booting in safe mode and then running an antivirus scan
