i am going to most likely be using the Galaxy III case as the new case. (Blaze )
budget: id say $1000. already have mouse and keyboard and speakers. and monitors. this is solely the tower. Thanks all.

If you're taking a 9400... its better to take a 8800GTX FTW
-
Galaxy III's are the shit!
Anyway, get a heatsink for the 9400, maybe an Arctic. http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/products/ati-vga/ac-acc-l2pro (http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/products/ati-vga/ac-acc-l2pro) looks good. Just make sure you look at temperature comparisons and such. I'm getting an Accelero S2 for a 7600GT.
Drop windows 7 too :/ Filled with stuff you don't need. Get XP, or even better, Linux/Ubuntu.

noooooo guys those are my current specs.
-

In USD:
Core i5 750 8MB Cache 2.66GHZ -> $199,99

Corsair Dominator DHX 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 RAM -> $165,99
XFX Radeon HD 5850 Black Edition Video Card -> $360,99

Comments, it can handle anything recent that you want,a nd probably will last some years.

okay thanks, whether i upgrade or not depends on apples announcements today :P if they release something good im getting it instead of upgrading my desktop.

x58 mobo.
-
X58 doesnt support i5 ;<
-
P58 doesn't support 2x 16PCI. Why the fuck should we go for a i5 :p
-
because he has a 'low budget', if he gets an i7 and a x58, he would easily spend $700-750 just for those. If he plans to get everything toguether, then i guess he wont have enough money.
