Title: Windows media player problem

Hi , when i try to open a vid / music it wont work nothing happens anyone know what to do ?

Can't tell the problem from this, but I highly recommend using Winamp than WMP.

maybe you need codecs, try the klite codec pack or sumthin  :ajaja:

Well , when i click on the media player button the program wont open or a when i click on a song or something it does nothing  :euro: but still i can open the program by clicking on the Give administrator rights , but for some reason i cant change the compability mode so i can't add files to wmp  :L

Try this.
Windows Key
Then search for CMD
Right click on cmd.exe in the search results and run as admin
Then once the box comes up, type "sfc /scannow" (with out the "")

This will check all your system files to make sure they haven't been damaged.

Have you tried playing audio from other programs, for instance on YouTube for example?

Happens to me from time to time, but it works again when I restart my computer.
Use VLC player, its fast and doesn't contain any bugs whatsoever.
