Title: Draw Distance

Hey guys the Draw Distance doesn't seem to work...heres some specs of mine :

2GB RAM

NO GRAPHICS card....on board memory 256 MB

Processor : Amd Athlon 64 x 2 Dual Core Proc.

Anyone know whats the problem ?

I can run VC/SA On full settings, 1440x900 on a Nvidia Geforce 7600, so yeah

For VC the onboard shuold be good, but theres probably some shit with the shading tech, whatever. 8600 GTS is good, but if you can, get one with a good RAMDAC clock instead of 512 mb ramp, so 8600 GT 800 mhz clock 256 mb vram > 8600 GTS 547 MHZ clock 512 mb ram =)

8600GT/GTS= don't

There are better cards out there at almost the same price. (and cheaper mail in rebate)

HD 4670
HD 3850/70
9600GT
9600GSO
9800GT/8800GT

If you are on a major budget and cannot seem to buy a new PSU, then 4670 is your answer.

VC runs perfect AFA I think.

The price of a 8600GT/GTS are almost close or same price as a 9600GSO/GT
9800GT=8800GT btw

But list the games you play and resolution.
