It's quite easy. Just use SACC and use the set direction thingo.. Then use it like a compuss:

-----N----
W-------E
-----S----

Just set it on N or S

Get the right heighted building, and your all set

By the way, it is possible with no mods:

#1 Jetpack up there (It IS possible)
#2 Leave the jetpack, Jump and die.
#3 Get an NRG, knock it on its side. Get the helicopter with a magnet, fly up and put it on the column.
#4 Get the jetpack, fly up and presto!

Not exactly hard, but it sometimes gets frustrating when it does bend and wobble. And double in a nrg is pretty hard because the second flip gets cut a bit short so that when you come to land, you hope you don't bail
