Title: YouTube High Quality Render
Post by: RaToC on July 10, 2008, 05:22:57 AM: Alot of people asked me how i render my videos to YouTube. This short tutorial shows how to reach the best quality on youtube so far. The movie must have 16:9 aspect ratio! (eg. 1280x720)

- Go to Render As...
- Select "Windows Media Video V9 (*.wmv)"
- Select "6 Mbps HD 720-30p Video"
- Press the "Custom..." button
- Go to the "Video" panel
- Set "Image Size" to "(Custom)"
- Set "Width" to 640, "Height" to 360
- You can save the settings into a new template, what you can simply use later. Press "OK", and start render

After uploading YouTube render your video in this order:
- low quality video
- sound
- high quality video
- preview picture

So don't worry if the quality crap after uploading, YouTube still render the hq

And finally you have to type after your YouTube links: &fmt=6

Because it works only if you have uploaded HQ video

fmt=18 is .mp4 however fmt=6 is flash and has a higher bitrate. fmt=6 is in mono sound as opposed to the stereo sound you get with fmt=18.

ALready tryed this method, but not better :/ maybe i do something wrong
