So, since I'm bored, I decided to post the parts I've been thinking for my new PC. I got low budjet, (around 500 euros) so the parts aren't the latest ones, but I should be fine with them.
ABIT IP35-E motherboard,
NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT 512Mb graphic card,
Buffalo 2GB DRR2 800MHz ram memory,
Cooler Master Real Power Modular 520W power supply,
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0GHz prosessor,
Ace Action 4 Silver case,
LG 20x DVDRW Black Soft SATA,
and new keyboard + extra fan.
Total: ~570 euros + posting ~15 euros
Discuss and give your opinion.

Looks good dude.

well i don´t rly know if its good,
i´m thinking about a new pc too and i found something for 400€
could you guys tell me if its good for that price? :>

only 2gs of ram? if your bothering to get a 512 HD graphics card you may as well get 3 or 4 gigs of ram, its not very pricey.

You don't need more than 2GB.

Fake. That config can run new game like COD4 BF242 Crysis maybe with medium settings but anyway dont say its a bad config cause it was really good for that price.

Not a fan of ATI cards, I had ATI for some time and I was glad I switched over to NVidia. You should also check with the PSU by visiting:
http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp (http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculator.jsp)
Upon filling in all the questions about your computer parts, it will not only give you a wattage rating, but also a suggestion of which PSU's to go for.
Other calculators include:
CPU Overclock Calculator
CPU Temperature Calculator
°C/W Calculator
Temperature Conversion

You can get much better PC for 400€ here in Latvia
-
@ Technogeek: Thanks for the site, I'm testing it out now. I've been also trying to search some good graphic cards but only a few of them has VGA.
@ morbidxxx: Well that's in Latvia.
@ SnowMan: Do not take that AMD Prosessor, it honestly sucks.

Try AfterDawn dude, maybe it's better place to ask for things like this, and it's finnish.

I already have. In case you didn't saw the reason why I posted this to here too. I told it in the first post.

If your currency is euro then I'd suggest you to buy in the US. Because 1euro = ~$1,50 . And everything which costs 100euro here costs $100 in the US
-
Yeh but which stores will ship the parts to here? And Technogeek, made the test and it said that recommended is around 310 watts. The power supply it gave is Antec TruePower Trio 430 ATX. Should I get that?
Edit: And ofcourse there aren't that power supply in the store..
Edit2: http://www.multitronic.fi/?prod=GV-NX88T512HP (http://www.multitronic.fi/?prod=GV-NX88T512HP)
What does that mean that it's 256-bit and does it effect on the other system?
-
bought mine for 200LVL xD about 300 euros, and it sux :> I am noob at buying PC's
Computer
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
OS Service Pack Service Pack 2

AMD Sempron Processor 3800+ 2.21 GHz..
256mb graphics card.
What a shit, eh?
-
Yeh, Tehcnogeek, check the last post of first page.
Edit: Also, if I dont need more than 313W, should I get this? http://www.multitronic.fi/?prod=11107 (http://www.multitronic.fi/?prod=11107)
Edit2: Made the test again, with the NVIDIA card i got over 430 watts.

mine:
- AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual
- Core Processor 3800+

- 401GB Harddisk
- Windows Vista Home Premium & Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
around the 780 Euro

This is not a topic for posting your PC specs.

It's up to you with the PSU. It's really just to give you an idea of the type of PSU to buy. You don't have to go with their recommendation, mine was about 500w but I purchased a 700w just incase I wish to upgrade at a later date.
The one I bought was Arctic Power 700W PSU - With PCI-E, 4x SATA, 20+4, ATX12V, 8pin +12V Connectors - Retail Boxed - http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124927 (http://www.ebuyer.com/product/124927) Costs about the same price in EU as the one you posted (or so my currency conversion told me) they both roughly about £41 which in EU is about 52 EU.
Anyway my specs:
Motherboard: nForce 590 SLI: Foxconn C51XEM2AA - £40/50 (60/70 eu)
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6400+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~3.2GHz - £90 (100 eu) - Intel are better but i've always been an AMD supporter.
Memory: OCZ EPP 4Gb (2X2048Mb) PC2-6400 DDR2 Dual Chan SLI Cert £70/80 (80/90 eu)
Hard Drive: 2x Maxtor 500GB Hard Drive SATAII £50 (60 eu)
Video Card: 2x BFGTech GeForce 8800 GTS OC 512MB £150 each (160 eu)
Power Supply: Arctic Power 700W PSU £41 (52 eu)
Case: Antec Nine Hundred £60 (70 eu)
Total cost of about 600 eu. Could be cheaper now though with the massive price drops. As for playing games, take away one of the graphics cards and I can run any game max settings. The game which I play most is Call of Duty 4 and I usually sit around 160 FPS and can have it running up to 250 FPS.
*EDIT*
I was looking at some comparisions on a website and I couldn't find the exact card you're going after however there was a similar card "PowerColor Radeon HD 3850 Xtreme PCS 512MB" just branded by a different company and it gives bench marks for different games and it shows for example in the Call of Duty 4, the FPS for max settings with that card was 62.2. Above that was:
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512MB - 79.9 FPS
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GS 384MB - 66.2 FPS
ATI Radeon HD 3870 512MB - 62.2 FPS
Don't know how much the card you're buying costs but I do know the 8800 GT OC costs about £100 (110 eu) and for an extra 10eu the OC2 model can be purchased. and the site I am on shows that "Asus GeForce 8800 GS 384MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail" costs about £59.99 (60/70 eu). You got the links to any of this hardware you posted?
-
Yeh, the prices have dropped alot on these days. I'll keep with that 460W power supply, it's enough for mine and it doesn't generate so much heat since it uses most of the energy. And I changed that graphic card to the 8800GT 512Mb, which is around 150 euros at here. So, my current pack:
ABIT IP35-E motherboard,
NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT 512Mb graphic card,
Buffalo 2GB DRR2 800MHz ram memory,
Cooler Master Extreme Power Plus 460W power supply,
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0GHz prosessor,
Ace Action 4 Silver case,
LG 20x DVDRW Black Soft SATA,
and new keyboard + extra fan.
Total: ~550 euros.

Sounds nice. My college mate has similar specs except he's with the same AMD CPU as me and he's using my old RAM, he's happy enough with his and has no problem running any game. My rig generates tons of heat so much I was forced to go out and buy a new case but now i've no problem with temps or overheating. Honestly stick with Nvidia if you plan to use the system for gaming.
*edit* The fan should be fine. The case doesn't really say how many fans it comes with and usually all computer cases leave room for extra fans. 120mm fan is probably the best option to go for as it's usually the size for standard cases. So you've chosen the correct type of fan. I don't see any problems connecting the the fan up and if there was you can always buy an adaptor for like less then half a euro.
-
Yeh thanks for your help.

Yeah, but the problem is that the US doesn't know shit about computers, and because of the word 'Recession' looming over our shoulders, why skyjacked prices of everything.
