Title: GTA Vice City

I have a 1GB MP3 player wich i use to put games on so we can have big LAN party's at school.

Now my question is.. When you install Vice City it asks if you want to install sound..

How big is Vice City if you dont install the sound, could i somehow compress it below 1GB

So that i can put it on my MP3 player and play at school, also.. Does VCMP require sound?

So that we can go online and play against eachother, caus I dont think theres a LAN option.

hrmm... I think your only solution size wise is getting a bigger mp3 player. Windowed mode... Not sure it's possible but i'll look around if i get a chance.

I dont know if you can play MP without sound but my Vice City map = like 882mb without sound.....

There may be other ways to do it aswell, I dunno... but one that I actually know is a tool called "3D Analyse" - it allows you to do alot of other stuff to, but most importantly there is an option for windowed play.

maybe if you removed ALL the sounds and then did some compressing or something, I dunno


Windowed mode for VC. LC doesent work cause of some exe issues.

If you don't install the sound it will ask you for the VC CD to play the game.

Isnt that what the crack is for, anywayzz i managed to get Vice City down to 250MB, Now I can have both Vice City and Liberty City on my small 1GB MP3 Player  Im stunting at school right now.. Tata..

you can delete audio folder and play without sounds, like me, but you can't play with that gta in vcmp
