The SASL 2 Video
It seems like there isn't any opposition to me editing the video so I'll make this topic.
This is a very big project for me and I haven't done anything like this before, so I'm gonna ask for some help from you guys.
Staff:
Editor: Me
Graphics Designer: (I'm gonna need somebody who can make a groovy looking border for the video or something, really I'm gonna need to speak with them about ideas.)
Information/.rep Collector: Souzuk, Ghost
Intro Maker: (I had an idea for the theme of the video, but I'm gonna need somebody experienced in main.scm to help me make it. If my idea is possible I will ask all the participants to post their save games and fonts and shit.)

Update:
I have added a list to the first post of all the .reps I haven't been able to collect. Most of them were from before I knew I would be editing this and the links to them went dead before I had chance to get them.
If anyody still has them please attach them to a post or upload them and put a link in this topic, but be sure to say what it is.
I have been doing some thinking about the song side of things in this video and wondered what you guys thought. I was thinking about editing this video to a 40 minute long drum and bass mix (of course I wouldn't use 40 minutes of it.) However I thought maybe some people wouldn't like that and would prefer normal length songs that vary in genre to meet everyone's tastes.
So what do you think? Please don't just post "Different songs cos drum and bass sucks lolol kthxbye," actually explain why you think I should edit it to that soundtrack.
I am still also in need of a graphics designer although I am probably not gonna ask for their input for a while. Also I still am looking for someone skilled with scripting.

I have been doing so, however there were a few that I missed/links went dead before I found out that I was editing this
I only need the replays on the list in the first post, I am up to date with Round 2 and the loser's round so far.

I added a list of stunts I missed/couldn't download from Round 2 and the Loser Round 1 to the first post.

I have absolutely NO idea what drum n' bass is, but i guess its like pendulum shit. Anyway that could be good, but i would prefer guns n' roses instead, their songs are rather long. Aerosmith would be great too, but maybe it wouldnt be great editing for. Anyway i have alot of OLD rock which means it hasnt been produced down to the mazda (i think that is what its called) time, at 3:23. Or you could just do like the old sasl vid with a different song for each round. :=)

Its going good man, I've got pretty much all the first round recorded. I'm going on holiday soon so I'm not gonna start editing yet but I figure thats okay because its not like anyone will lose stunts from this

There are 2 ways I'm gonna edit this video and I'll let you guys pick:
1. A very long 20 minute-ish video where I try to get basically everystunt in edited to an also very long Drum n Bass mix.
2. A normalish sized video similar to the GTASL4 video where I just use the highlights of each round that would probalbly end up edited to drum and bass aswell

I think longer video would be cool cause we don't see a lot of those... but you must keep
everybody interested in the movie until the end, probably with your editing or some
theatrical scenes.

Agree... I want the fun of watching a stunt video be longer.

Though it depends on how great DnB music will you choose, i think DnBs are not good for project like this. Wergild, for example, that was 10/10 for the music choice and editing. You had to show people some characteristics about your crew with the music and edit and did it. However, this is not. This is GTAS community vid, so you have to show all their ablities rather than each stunter's characteristics. So other kind of music would be better for SASL2 vid. I privately want you to give them awesomeness so that everyone who watched this vid get goosebumps with great music.
I wanna give you a suggestion. Can you edit this vid like GTASL2 edited by TackleBerry? I mean you should point out this vid as a SL vid. GTASL4 looks no more than a normal VC collab vid imo becuase they didn't edit that without focusing the vid as a SL vid.
Make it EPIC, that's everybody want.

I agree with Sucker, you enjoy a League video more if you know what happened in each round and who was against who, that way you can assume the objective too.

Both of you are right. If ghost only use great stunts, this vid will be not boring at least. However, you can't ignore vid length. For example, ppl can't spend about 40 mins to watch this single vid. Also, you should consider this vid will be watched more and more time as this is great project.
Maybe this is the hardest editing for him ever.

I have some bad news guys, I don't think I will be able to edit this video.
I am very busy with college and I want to do the best I can for it. I want to ask if another editor will do it? I still have all the reps.
I would rather see another editor's best editing as opposed to my rushed crappy stuff, especially on a video of this size.
I hope you guys understand.
