Well, i was looking my Task Manager -window, or what is it's name. But i noticed that my prosessor really is working hard. I mean, before, just couple days ago for example, it have worked fine, runned around 30-70%, and the core at only 1-5%.
But today, i checked it again and i was like HOLY CRAP. And when im just going to another page in internet or starting a program or just doing my daily basics, the prosessor's and core's lines jump to 100%. My comp haven't made anything like this before, and its worrying me that my comp is not going to hold up long time anymore. And this is how it runs nowadays when im only doing my daily basics ive done always:

HELP!

If your talking about the PF box, at 548mb in your picture. Thats the pagefile. Pagefile is a chunk of the hard drive (limit set by you) that the computer uses as RAM/Swapfile when you run out of virtual memory to be used.
Maybe this is a sign you should get more RAM, or that you should give your computer a good inside and outside clean out?
Hope I helped.
-
Well you did have 68 processes running when you took this which was leaving you with squat for available physical memory. Try not running everything at once.
-
I would recommend the clean out. But if that doesent work get more ram and set your virtual memory higher. Or use a chunk of the hardrive thats even bigger for virtual memory

We have added this comps RAM -memory to the max, which is 512MB. So what you mean with inside and ouside clean out? Oh and, im meaning the Prosessor Usage. *Suoritinkäyttö* Well, im meaning both.

Well, i shutted all my open programs, expect internet when i took that pic. And most of the processes were system's and some were which have been running ALWAYS. Heres a picture of them, and when theres just 34 processes, the prosessor and the core are still acting the same way, and i just started my computer.

Is it a 266mhz one with 32MB ram?
-
Well, dunno about the MHz's, but here was orginally 128MB or RAM memory, but we added nowadays its to the max, which still is 512MB.
-
Do you have something like norton installed?
-
Nope.

Do a virus scan, you are bound to have some. I recommend downloading AVG Free Edition or something similar, and do a full system check.
-
*trying*
e: Is avast fine? Since downloading AVG will take almost 20 minutes..
-
Avast will do its job.
Can you tell me what you were doing so your windows explorer.exe uses like 46%? Mine just uses, when I open a window, like 3%. When it's opened, then 0%.
-
Okey, ill do the virus scan because.. well since its 21:30 already in here, and it takes like 5 hours so..
And, well, i dunno. When i took that pic, it was pritty much as this in the picture. But now, when writing this, it was on 1-5%.

Well, sounds like the computer is struggling to stay alive, 6-7 years is quite old man.
There are a number of ways to speed up a computer though, just search around on google. I'll post back in here with a list at some point when I find the time
One thing you could do, and this is only if you are comfortable with it.
Click start, go to Run and type in 'Msconfig'
This will open up a new screen, with like 6 tabs, IGNORE the first 4, just focus on the Services and Startup Tab.
Services - This is a list of all the services running on your computer at the moment.
At the bottom, click 'Hide Microsoft Services', you are now left with a list of services from custom programs.
Have a look through, if you see any services that are being ran by a program you are not familiar with, then untick it, make sure it's not something important though, use google to determin what program uses it.
Startup - This list is what starts up when your computer boots.
Have a look through this too, unchecking all that you do not want to run on startup. Obviously using common sense, and using google if needs be.
Hope this helps for now mate.

Your best shot would be to save up as much as you can and start upgrading the vital parts. RAM and processor should be first in line
