Dont really know much, but go for it. Although, i think it might overheat.

WTF? Don't listen to him. I don't see any reason it would over heat, it would be running slower then normal thus creating less heat.

Does it have a spare PCI slot? Just grab a nice PCI card, if not save the cash for a new rig.
