Post by: finallight on July 04, 2007, 03:21:53 PM: Why would you rather do this than just a regular catapult? You'd have to get a new second vehicle after every attempt. Doesn't seem worth it when you can just use a dead car.

So he essentially "replacing" a grenade with an exploding car in order blow up the dead car to do a catapult? I think I get it now.

Yeah pretty much. The dead car has some weird physics in it and it is essentially the thing that catapults you. Normally you do catapults by chucking a grenade off to the side and getting on your bike at the last second, but this time he replaced the grenade with a hydra which gave him much more force, which led to him getting much more air.

clean answer me: that stunt on the clip was luck or maybe it was easyest to replicate than normal catapulting?

Post by: kr3mlin on July 07, 2007, 08:18:47 PM: The second explosion idea is something ive tinkered with, its a good idea and the hydra is probably the best thing to use, I just find it annoying to try and time when the vehicles explode because i find its generally not a constant.

Well done on this, showed me that the result might be worth the effort put into them
