Post by: VaNilla on June 08, 2007, 03:35:04 PM: Hey, this is my brand new sequel to my first good solo, Empty Hopes, I wanted to continue the series so guess what, I did. This took about an hour to edit, but fucking ages to render . I also forgot to shoutout to some people, BoBsaget for convincing me to use MP4, Nicogamer for watching a beta, Crazy for being cool with me still using the song..... Anoobis/Stuntking/Explo/Brandon6199/ and anyone else I forgot for keeping the spirit up!

btw, about the vid:

I didn't like it, but because the music and editing was terrible :/ some of the stunts looked sketchy too, but I won't watch it again like I do your other vids (I like the editing of some of your other vids)

Dont listen to Sweet, the music owned. But I would have like to seen some better editing for that song, not that it was bad but the song deserved some crazy editing.

The pan/crop was off, you used it all the time, but it just went around the screen, softly. Pan/crops should be for making stunts look cooler, or synching to something. You tried that, but you used it too much, so in the end it was just annoying. Try to limit the use of pan/crop, or put it in krails, bigass airs or something like that. But basically, you over did it.

8/10 A really enjoyable video, I would have been interested in editing the sequal!

And the AG helicopter AG thing looked like it was done in 3 takes, I did watch it on YT though. Last stunt was awsome. I liked the hydra stunt, but it wasn't great. I liked the editing too.

In the credits, what's with doing KaynT stunts from that one movie?

Post by: Jamal on June 09, 2007, 06:05:07 PM: Well, you do a stunt where it is really hard to get the distance and then you go 6 to 10 feet past the landing spot. It's like you should clip the edge of the building and then barely make it up, you sail way past the edge.

2 reps, 2 clips, it was all in a combo though, when I got back to the bike on the roof my 1st time it cut out the rest, so I did it again by saving the rep when im back on the extra bike, then cut the replay, so I could do the other AG.

Thanks for the comments, yeah Brandon, one thing though I'd like to say, I was ill on the day, no other chance to edit it, did it in 1 hour, good for a 1 hour edit like most of my jobs? Methinks so, took 6 times that to render the MP4.

Stunts were amazing, stuff I would never consider landing btw you didn't use that pb you showed me and I think it's because of honesty You could nitpick and edit for several hours to improve synching but I really didn't notice any mistakes in editing it was a great watch. 9.9/10 idk about perfect but nice grind at the end too. I knew those trees had "poletap" effects

Its also good to see you showing off your stunts rather than talking about them hehe

EDIT: On second viewing...I really feel strongly that some of your stunts might be modded, Im not going to argue with you about it, Im just saying that I will avoid viewing any future videos of yours because you might just be landing stunts and taking away spots for those who could do it properly. The stunt that made me decide this is the side view of the bump at 2:15...it looks like you dont even hit the bump, you just launch up right before hitting it
