Title: Problem with monitor or computer?

ok ive gone with this for a long time now but its startin to piss me off now.

theres a thick line, about 10-20pt in width, and sometimes its cyan(blue)sometimes purple pink green etc, it just gets in the way, when im trying to move down the page i cant see the bar and its so annoying, i dont think i can post a pic of it because its not actually there, but ill draw it

Woah. That's weird. I'd say your monitors color is a little screwed up. Or something around there.

my old crt used to do that but all over , id punch it and it would go then come back =[ it something to do with th wire could be twised insid or he connection is bad

I had the same problem , but with more stripes . My GFX card was fucked , so i bought a new one and the problem was gone.

This is what i'd do:

Check your connections, See if wires are twisted. Check the GFX Card is working.

If you do that and it isnt, Use a backup.
