Title: Windows Live Messenger problem
Post by: Tackleberry on January 17, 2007, 02:45:20 PM
This new version of MSN looks good, but I think it's the worst version ever. It has some good sides, but I hate the way contacts are handle.

I have a problem right now, which I can't figure out how to solve.:

There is guy I want to talk to, lets call him "Tony". I asked Tony for his msn, and he said it was [email protected]. I went to add it, but it says that I already have him added. Therefore I checked my groups, but I couldn't find him. So I went to look at the "allow-block"-option and searched through the list. I saw I had Tony under allowed, not blocked. Then I searched the "Non-Instant Messaging Contacts", but he isn't on that list either. What should I do to be able to talk to Tony?

I remember this problem. It's just a bug, let him add you and you'll be able to talk to him .

Add him again?
When I try doing that, it says: "You have previously added a contact who uses this instant messaging address. A contact's instant messaging address must be unique."

Problem solved (it wasn't the program's fault, it was me who couldn't search very well...).
