OK, so for the past few days, internet has been pretty stable and all but today, it suddenly went to shit: GTAS takes a minute to load a single page (in the past it was much faster), and when I tried to upload something I got a upload speed of 2.5 kb/s (in the past I got about 70-90 kb/s)
I've tried deleting my cookies, resetting, using IE instead of Firefox, tried different to upload at different places but nothing helped so.. yeah? Help?

Possibly malware, adware. Possibly virus, possibly firewall, possibly your internet company are fixing faults and causing slow speeds. Hard to determine really.

Go to Control Panel - Network Connections - Local Area Connection (or something else you have there) - See if the Status is Connected and if it is and the connection still is gay - Look down - Click Disable - Wait a little - Click Enable. If that doesn't work, call your local internet provider and ask them what's up.

A fucking earthquake hit Taiwan and caused internet cables to break. They're probably trying to fix it. I get shit download speeds here too.

I'm on smallband atm, maybe that's your 'problem' too. Try disabling all sigs/avas/images on this forum, it makes the pages load faster.

First, power off your modem/router for 5 minutes, then start it again, sometimes that works.
Or If you're on DSL, check your phones, phone cables, your splitter or anything else connected to your phone lines. I had this a couple of days ago, simply disconnect everything from your phone lines, like wallplug, the phones themselves and everything, then plug just your modem into the wall with the shortest cable possible, see if your speed increases. If it does, add back phones and cables one thing at a time until it slows down again, then you know what your problem is.
If you're not on DSL, or that doesnt work, call your ISP
